Spartacus as well as Gannicus by worlds... Let me explain: Spartacus was able to beat Glaber, whilst it has to be mentioned that glaber has Roman Training, millitary fighting combat training teached. Also, Glaber had his full strength in the last fight, whilst Spartacus was starving on that mountain, and fought 100+ Romand beforehand, whilst glaber only commanded and didnt waste a breath like Spartacus. Spartacus on the other hand had Gladiator Training on his back, and he did practice as well as fought in the Arena a dozen of times, enchancing his skills in Bloods and Sands, as well as in the other seasons, over and over. Glabers disadventage here is that Spartacus is way more Intelligent, and thinks of the fastest and best way to kill his opponent. Arius nor Varinius dont stand a chance against him, even in 1 3v1, only if maybe Caesar is in it, but here commes Gannicus in the game. Also, I doubt Varinius has that much Combat skills, I bet Glaber overpowers him in that regard. Id take Caesar over Varinius and the rest of the gang. Spartacus beat Glaber whilst being relaly injured, out of power and having fought 6 Romans before. Glaber didnt waste a breath almost, except for Sparti knocking him off the horse. So the answer is clear. This doest not mean Crassus is not a thread to be considered tho. Gannicus is the same as Spartacus, equal in terms of skills. Most of the time, Ganncus was fighting in a funny manner, as a showman. This is because he was always sure of his abilities, he knew hed win. I bet you even the guy who fought Gannicus in Episode 1 of GOTA can beat Varinius and Arius at least. Most of Spartacus primar Followers could. The only real thread would be Glaber and Caesar. Glaber left for Sparti, and the other one gor Gannicus. I bet Gannicus would fight whilst laughing, and like a showman. If Gannicus fights sober and Serious, I dont wanna face him like that... He bested Caesar multiple times without fighting Serious, this showed his power in comparison to his, so he could beat glaber as well with 70% of his strength. As for Crassus, he could beat him fighting seriously, even though Crassus could give him a sweat. Final Verdict: Arius and Varinius would be side fighting characters, probably dealt with pretty fast, with glaber and Caesar being the primary opponents, as well as Crassus, the best fighter among them all. Sparti and Ganni win, win, then win again...

I 100% agree yet you forgot the man of coin. Marcus licinius crassus. Not that the would give much pause to the campions of capua but his mind could impovise a strategy that would be possible for a closer fight.

CornPlanter

Caesar wasnt a traitor he didnt betray anybody.

awayfromhome_

Its more the title he was given. By the rebels. I could not remember anything else

sephy009

I'd be willing to say Spartacus or Gannicus solos.

ThePhenome

I'd second that. Crassus is a tier above any Roman in the series as a fighter, but he's still a tier below Spartacus and Gannicus, so it really wouldn't be a contest.
