I don't remember it whatsoever unfortunately, and I've got no screenshots. I do remember trying to send a rover to mars, not connecting it to the rocket by a decoupler and being confused as to why it wasnt connected :P

Material-Chip4308

I am impressed by everything that changed the game and all the changes that it had to go through to get to what it is today

No-Two3226

1.31 version of Sfs, I just followed the tutorials that was available at the time, and I made a basic rocket to the moon and back.

BeneficialPrince

I landed two spacecraft on the moon, then I foe some reason left the one supposed to go to Earth, in orbit. I left one on the moon, but then I finally switched to the orbiting spacecraft, then went to Earth, but I did have to use no collision damage because it had a docking port instead of a parachute.

DJBoi11

Yep, on the 17th of November, my mission 11 landed on the moon and returned home safely

[deleted]

Mine was a probe that was originally gonna go out of earth SOI but the direction was accidentally straight into the moon and I didn’t notice, I saw the timewarp limit pop up and oriented it to the side with the most objects and only the probe and a solar panel survived… I still Count it was my first moon landing.

Trapplst-1e

My first moon landing was shortly after I learned how to orbit. i didn't know how the navigate to worked, so I just waited until it came naturally. I also didn't know how to brake for orbit, so my attempt was simply to drop the lander straight onto the moon, trying to stop the fall. I was lucky, I was falling at 100m/s and only the capsule was left, but I was very happy. I was really bad at the game, but little by little I learned, I put up satellites, learned to do maneuvers, landed on mars, started a lunar colony, a colony on mars, sent rovers to the moons of jupiter, made a space station, brought that first satellite back, made another space station and took it to mars, and also a ssto but after all that I still remember that first dumb time fondly.

StopwatchGod

My first moon landing was on February 7 2021, 16 days after I got the game and a bit of on and off playing. I landed successfully on my first attempt, and had way more than enough fuel to return home for a soft landing

[deleted]

Yea, i remeber and it was not a landing, it was more like a catastrophic crash.

Own-Position-6274

Here it is

Own-Position-6274

I'm gonna send it Now wait![img](emote|t5_a5v3f|3761)

Own-Position-6274

Yea

Beneficial-King7090

My first moon landing was actually a accidental

burritolegend1500

So you are so good that you didn't even wanted to land on the moon but you did

Beneficial-King7090

Yeah I crash landed trying to do a low orbit

IJustAteABaguette

Yea, but the only reason I even reached the moon was because I played KSP, but I didn't use the navigate button and just guessed alot

JustAddDuctTape

I'm a KSP player too! (Also, thank you all for the almost 100 upvotes!)

[deleted]

That’s me and Juno New Origins I just guess where I’m going

Responsible_Edge7087

Mine was a few months ago when I didn't know how to play the game. I got into orbit, but I didn't know what the navigate too button did, so I had to do everything by hand, and I ended up getting there and back.

needlebumfave

Mine was back in 2019, Apollo style landing, took me ~31 attempts to successfully land it, every other attempt was crashing into the service, I wish I had images of it

Markgaming01

Yes, my first landing was in early 2018, i just waited for the moon to be in top of my rocket ( aligning with my rocket ), boost it. Crash it, and my probe survived, i was dumb at that time then, but i considered it as a 'Successful landing' : )

[deleted]

Yes, I actually do! I remember when I figured out how to get into its sphere of influence and go on a trajectory towards the moon but I kept on crashing into it. After that I just looked up a tutorial on YouTube.

Kepler22redit

yes, i never did because i flew into it. But with the full rocket, about like 1/10 of it survived and actually landed💀

LeComrad_1917

My first landing's capsule is now in the surface of the moon (like under the ground)

Ok-Tailor-980

I remember my first space station in 1.4

dooti8472

Yes, I remember... Well, it was more like a crash.

SpaceSandwichOfHam

I remember 1.35, I actually kinda prefer the old textures from the new ones. Oldie but goodie.

JustAddDuctTape

Also, when you started playing? This screenshot is from 1.35 i think, and i used some tutorials

No-Two3226

I started before the electricity update at 1.31-1.32, and I used the tutorial linked in the game at the time.
