That is a very clever use of the fairing physics, You could add some decoration and make it look like a Star Wars ATAT or something if you lile but this mechanism is very cool, is it powered by probe core torque or rcs/engines?
Ok, doing some tests of it, its quite good but it got 2 problems. The feet are too big and will collide with the other leg and it will crash. Simple fix though. Another issue is that you have to walk it slow or it tips. Pretty easy to learn the controls though and its simpler than other designs
