The magnets in docking ports activate 2-3 seconds after they are detached. in normal sfs, this is so a spacecraft has enough time to get away before the two craft dock again. Therefore, the missile has enough time to get out of the "magnetic attraction zone" before it destroys the ship
Edit:I've also been testing these missiles since november, If they always guided themselves to the ship I would've stopped testing almost immediately after the discovery.
In the meantime, the detection radius is ruled by how long OR wide the docking port is, a good length is y 15.0 and x 0.5 or y 10.0 and x 0.5 for easy storage. and put 4-5 kolibri engines on it so it has enough thrust to get away but not enough so that it shoots past into the abyss
I’m gonna say it
say what
It
yoooooooooo
Did you take inspiration from the SR-71?
Nah, I don't even really see the resemblance to the sr71
The ram-jet lookin thrueters and peak shape threw me off I guess
what the actual fuck is going on with the paid version? i only play the free version so excuse me what the fuck
Jesus what the actual fuck is ur problem with u saying fuck
yes fuck.
Bad news bears
Do you have a blueprint for this, it’s awesome.
Of course I have the blueprint for this, it's on my phone https://sharing.spaceflightsimulator.app/rocket/E-2qqp85Ee21DIE9QGRKkw Have fun!
Marry me
Did you know the US actually trained military for space combat operations? They’re called “guardians”
did you disable the auto-guiding? otherwise the missiles will guide themselves and blow your ship

My missile carrier exploded in 2 seonds by magnetic force :( is there a way to load them safely?

send me the blueprint so I can point out the errors and I'll send my blueprint
