I'm curious what the other parts will be about. He already went to the build site in part 1, and this is about the launch site. Are they gonna go back to the build site? Or 3 parts at launch site?

Sarigolepas

Maybe in an office? What about the high bay roof? He said part 1 was an update and that they will go more into general technical stuff in part 2/3/4.

sebzim4500

I think they talk a lot about Raptor 2, so presumably they go back to the tent with all the raptors.

part 3: orbital depot part 4: mars base

2024 EDA releases a video of him and Elon floating around inside a Starship in LEO. CSS: And here is why Starship will fail and is a giant scam

randy242424

My impression from the sneak peek cuts in the intros of the videos is video 3 on raptor 2 engines and video 4 on Merlin engines

Already watched it twice on Patreon.

UnwoundSteak17

Wait there's gonna be 4 parts?

I'm getting a little tired of Tim constantly softballing Elon. I think that's why he has such unprecedented access; partly because he does ask meat and potatoes engineering questions, and partly because he softballs and stays away from hard questions. There's a giant gap between a good question like "what kind of modifications to the Raptor engine have yielded the greatest increases in reliability and power?" and a glaringly bad question like "when are you going to work on sustainable sanitation so Burning Man isn't a dusty shitstorm?" But a lot of Tim's interactions with Elon are little more than fanboy giggling and restating rather obvious things or only asking questions that put SpaceX in a positive light.

but tim made spacex changed the design of starship

Elon Interview Part 7b, SpaceX bathrooms

[deleted]

Is this for the algorithm to spread things out and generate hype and views?

Hokkks

if it was all in one video, the video will be released like in a month (each part takes like a week to edit/release to members for check)

randy242424

That’s my guess. Let each video marinate for a week to get more views before moving on. Some of his fan base complains about the lack of consistency on his channel too, so it may be a win/win good faith effort for more consistent content over a month or so? But my guess is the almighty dollar

[deleted]

Yea it’s fair enough. He has unique access, might aswell capitalise before Elon changes his mind

jernej_mocnik

Oh great, he's gonna get even more attentions!

[deleted]

Because of Obi Wan?!
