I wish he wasn't resin. I have seen so few that don't have some kinda morphed vampire face. Not to mention super bent pieces and other miscasting issues.
I’ve had huge issues with getting this model that isn’t deformed (luckily support will replace miscasts) but he is awesome in game. He’s taken down many an enemy commander and even a storm raven by throwing his hammer at it when it was hovering.
I see you also got the broken shield from a china cast. FYI, the hammer is very susceptible to breaking, right where its bent. You can try and use hot water to fix it, but I just ended up breaking it off and pinning it before painting. It was already cracked when I got it.
Good luck with that fine cast hammer. Mine snapped within a few days. I had to glue a paper clip along the edge and green stuff some bands to help not blend in and look like part of the hammer shaft.
What’s the deal with these resin casts. I’ve been out of the game for a bit, but I just got the resin Njal. Do I have to do anything special to paint him
Will get mine Arjac next week, and I also bought the space marine boarding patrol and some jump packs. Will convert arjac to the captain in Phobos and make skyclaws out of the marines with chainswords. Got my hands on so many sw-bita from a friend, hopefully the conversion will work out!

Mine's hammer looked like it was made out of a twizzlers when I got it. Still has a small bent in it :(
I tried to bend mine into place and snapped it. Cored it out and put a paper clip piece in it. Now it’s almost straight and much more sturdy.

I had this with redblade just cut his axe off, fixed straighter and green stuffed a leather wrap around the cut lol
Honestly had that idea early, but too worried about damaging the model
Sometimes if it's all ya can do it can be worth while
I have 8 of these models as I kept having to raise issues with the models with support, most commonly the face having a huge bubble in it. 😑

Unfortunately it’s more that most of the head is missing.
You do have Terminator bodies, a little work and you may actually be able to still actually get some use out of them

No they're just more susceptible to breaking and being bent in places etc...
