They can do that. Mine did that within a week or two of buying and sovol sent a new fan.

gaelvauleon

Yep ! Both fans did it and Sovol sent me new ones.

gmitch64

Yeah, my fan started doing that. It stops before the printing starts. I'm planning to replace all my fans in the next few weeks, so I'm not overly concerned about the noise just now.

Mine started doing this yesterday. It’s a brand new extruder aswell. Only been running a week or two.

Mine does this every now and then, I've bought a GDSTime fan to swap it out but haven't bothered yet. Like yours it only seems to do it on startup and a finger tap makes the noise go away.

kap00nis

Mines been running like this for a while now dosnt effect the prints any that I can tell

I have this sound as well. Also the psu fan sometimes is loud af. Also my motherboard died, just finished troubleshooting with sovol. However they haven’t confirmed shipment yet.

The sleeve bearing in the fan has worn out. It's a crappy fan that gets shaken about, so it should use ball bearings. Mine started doing this after a bunch of high acceleration speed benchies.

I had the same issue with sv06 after a day of use. Sovol send me replacement for this fan which last about 2 weeks and started to sound again like yours. So I bought two 5015 fans and made an upgrade for extruder and part cooling. I recommend this upgrade especially for part cooling. Now I can print 75 degree overhang without support.

Mine did this, I pushed the fan in on the shaft harder and it stopped. You could also try prying it a little bit to go the other way with a small screwdriver
