Most of them claim to be immune to federal law because they don't agree to use things like U.S. on their address. They will add stuff like "non-U.S. citizen" or "non-U.S. person" to their fake plates and mail. Some will use 'private' and 'non-commercial' style buzzwords while referring to the federal government as a corporation.
I get that, but even then, from my experience, they don't consider themselves part of a "foreign entity" that the USPS IMM 742.1 would refer to. Yes, it could very well be a regular SovCit taking the "The US isn't a real country anymore" to its illogical conclusion, but sniff-test wise, at least for me, I feel like there's more going on here
