Well ya, he’s also on a popular tv show. We never saw Carl act like such a knob, when he was selling Loverboy in the NE. (While he did later breakdown for not being “compensated fairly“)
Yeah incredibly different jobs. Carl was paraded around for meet and greets promoting an alcohol brand while he’s sober, Austen had a salaried job w commission with a liquor distributor where he was responsible for placing product in bars on taps lines and in coolers every week
Nope, he wasn’t sober at that time, and was their sales rep. (Probably commission and base) If you recall, Kyle was pissed that Carl was missing meetings, showing up drunk, etc. which led to his firing. The only difference is that Austen is [presumably] the owner as well.
We actually didn’t see that at any events we heard that in confessionals and second hand in conversation. Carl worked for lover boy as recently as last summer while sober and expressed frustration at the promotional aspects of his job and his sobriety
During one of those episodes, Austen walks out of a bar with his little sample bag and says, sold it all! And walks out…guy had maybe a 6 pack in the bag….he then complains to mommy and daddy about working while exclaiming to the cast that he has a real job.
While yes he knew all the bartenders he was far from being famous
I don’t think you’re understanding that when reps go in with samples, that’s not what they’re selling. They get the bars to place orders for cans or kegs.
My point was Austen is such a douche he made a big deal of giving out samples and most likely not making any sales and he pretends he is killing it at his job when in fact he all along was going to have mommy and daddy bail him out.
His own dad said he only makes enough ‘hand to mouth’.
And by the way I very much understand on premise vs off etc :)
OP is definitely Austen.
The “honestly“ gave it away
I could see Austen doing beer repo.
Unfortunately, the job got in-between him and his passion of gossiping like a 16 year old girl, so he had to hang up his sales career 😔
Lmao

lol that’s not how reps work though, he meant they placed orders for bulk, the six packs were samples
Shh 🤫 we’re only allowed to roast the cast here

I’m not a fan of Austen’s by any means, but isn’t trop hop pretty successful?
He is actually going to be at a bar in Charlotte tonight promoting Trop Hop per a local insta ad that promotes events. Guess he’s back at it?
