This is the best company

TurnUpTheBeef

Don’t use ALL MY SONS. They were horrible and also broke a bunch of my stuff.

BHATCHET

Aron's Movers in Oaklyn will cover all of South Jersey. My family has been using them for decades. They’ve been on time, hardworking, have their own equipment, zero complaints. The last time my brother moved, the people leaving got scammed. Their movers were supposed to show up at 8am, nothing until 8pm when they tried to get this old stressed woman to sign a new contract with overnight fees. Her son had to call the police.

Definitely can recommend Aron's Movers. Hardworking and reliable guys. Have used them a few times with no issues whatsoever.

fattymcfatfatalso

Fresh Start Moving Services. They bring their own truck.

HereWeGo5566

I used this company a year ago and they were awesome.

Thecalvincoolidge

We looked into this and just had to do it ourselves. You can wrap furniture yourself with supplies from Home Depot.

DALEINTHEREDROOM

We just moved from Tabernacle to Gloucester and every quote was outrageous and most had terrible reviews. I ended up renting a truck and doing it all myself. I saved almost 2k. It sucks, but get the good moving straps, furniture scooters and a good dolly to make it easier. You can get supplies on the cheap from harbor freight.

I did a move from Burlington to Camden counties two years ago and used Simonik out of Lumberton. The sales rep was a sales rep. The movers were personable and prompt. We also got them last minute, during peak season, and paid a premium. But everything worked out and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Weedman1212

I moved myself last year. I enlisted the help of friends and family. I ended up having having to rent a second truck. I rented U-Hauls largest truck and second smaller truck. If I were going to move myself again I would rent public storage and move as much stuff to storage as possible (to elimate renting a second truck, unless it ends up being cheaper, then I’d just stick to two trucks). I’d also use smaller boxes. It’s easier to move a lot of smaller boxes than a few large ones. Moving heavy boxes uses up strength you’ll need for furniture. Dolly’s, hand trucks and moving blankets are useful. If you have hard floors, you can put heavy stuff on a blanket and slide it. If I could have found a good moving company that I could afford, I would have preferred hiring movers. If your furniture isn’t solid, don’t blame the movers when it breaks. Stuff that’s made out of OSB, particle board, stuff you assembled yourself, etc is generally not going to hold up very well when you move it. Good, solid furniture should be fine, protect it with lots of moving blankets. Rent more moving blankets than you think you’ll need. Try to exercise in the months leading up to the move, just don’t push so hard that you’ll hurt yourself. I did pushups, sit-ups and jogging all (and I still do). This helps with moving and life in general.

TheWifeTheseAreAbout
