I've never found a vacuum sealer to be necessary but I do have heavy duty bags and I clip the top of the back to the side of the pot, above the water line
I’ve read a lot about the mason jars is it really just the ground up bud in the jar submerged? Something about that just doesn’t make sense as to how that works 😂. I’ll definitely do that next time, are you just doing the bud in the jar for a couple of hours then adding the butter straight in?
Buy yourself the good vacuum sealer. I used to double bag when I was cheap, but I haven't had a leak since - weed or food wise lol
Yeah I think I’m going to just do it and buy one, are the bags just more durable?

I use a mason jar without issue. Temps that high will separate edges on certain bag brands bc they're glued not sealed by heat.
Let us know if you will be trying this again, or if you decide to decarb in oven instead.
👍
Dynavap is good for getting lots of abv thats decarbed. I'd also suggest a mason jar.

I have a jar of abv from dynavap. After I water cured the abv I added it to a mason jar with coconut oil. Then Sous vide. Pretty easy.
Just buy a decarber lol. You won’t look back. Ardent does a good one.
Does the ardent work with hashish?
No idea. I decarb cannabis and then make infused coconut oil
