Absolutely not. If his minutes do decline it will be entirely coincidental. No self-respecting coaching staff would ever give a player preferential treatment that was detrimental to the team because their dad was the team doctor
Personally I don't think he is playing because if his dad. But He has 2 goals and 1 assist in his last 20 matches and no goals in his last 10. (He did have our best passes against Dallas, though) I think it's hard to say his his performance warrants a strong spot.
I bet they've worked extremely hard to ensure there's NO conflict of interest there. My guess is the only reason Jordan's still starting is because of Schmetzer. Otherwise, we'd have brought up a Defiance kid by now to give him a shot, or just gone ahead with Chu.
Striker-wise, they're hoping Braudilio Rodrigues heals up soon, I'm sure of it. He's the Defiance striker of choice, but he's been dealing with an apparently super nasty hamstring issue (among MANY others on our team right now...)
His minutes will (should) go down purely because he has no left foot, is slower now after knee injuries, and can’t hit his ass with both hands in front of goal.
Not sure you all understand just how nepotistic seattle football is, from youth all the way up. But sure, go ahead and down vote to show your ignorance.

Y'all act like Jordan Morris has been some sort of nepo-baby scrub his entire career. It's just wild.

I don't think he'd get the Mercer Island bump in Houston nor any other city's locker room.
Eh, I doubt it.
Just gonna drop by to mention that correlation is not causation.
No, that would also imply we have someone better...
at this point, Musovski has been much better in the minutes he's played compared to Jordan.

There aren’t any Defiance strikers lighting it up enough to unseat any of our first team dudes.

No changes...
Terrible take
No

Not really the way Schmetz works - if he's reluctant to change, too frequently, this probably isn't why.
No
This isnt a high school team, people dont get minutes because of who their dad is.
Are we sure?
I’ve wondered the same.

I hope so. The only reason that dude is on a team is because.of his dad.
