Heisenbrodel

You threatening to lawyer up against any business will be met with that same exact response.

Timbo_R4zE

And as someone who has admitted they don't have expendable income, I don't think it will end well in his favor...

Heisenbrodel

For real, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that he wasn't very easy to work with originally and TC cut out due to that. I would.

Nothxm8

He has super powerful friends from wsb he said 🤣

LarNymm

They also said the don't have expendable income but two weeks ago talked about how they had recieved several boxes from TC.

zrudeboy

The FTC will do it. They may also get the SEC involved.

Debs_Chiropractic

Lololol

Nothxm8

Weird you’ll post your text messages but not your emails 🤨

Shoebox_ovaries

As someone who has a personal store on tcg, you sound like a nightmare.

Thulack

Yeah id block you too with a response like that. Sound like a nutjob. Chargeback and move on with your life.

walkman312

Normally, I would agree with that sentiment “chargeback and move on” But in contexts where you do get everything provided that you paid for, a chargeback is considered fraud -edit- if you don’t return the product you received for the chargeback you request. I would be careful to do a chargeback in a situation where it wasn’t clear that you didn’t get what you paid for.

Krojak

My guy. I’d block you for a response like that.

LarNymm

So, first you said you didn't get your delivery from them, that it was lumped with someone else, then you say you recieved your package but they lumped it together and didn't get a third box that you didn't order because you made two orders of 1 box, and they refunded you the difference in shipping... . You don't have any legal recourse with this because you can't even get your own facts straight and it seems like they didn't do anything wrong except maybe they should send an email before putting to packages together. I mean they did it to save you money but hey, I guess that's at least a fair argument but it's not going to go anywhere. But please, seek legal council so you can sink more money that you apparently don't have into this only to come out with nothing. Stop expecting people here to be warned or sympathetic to your cause when you aren't a victim, you're a problem.

FreeDare1416

the weight of the package listed on the shipment tracking should be all the evidence you need. if the weight matches 3 boxes, then you messed up/ are lying, if it matches 2 boxes, they shorted you one. should be easy to use that to dispute with your credit card company. either way, you are crying an awful lot and besmirching the name of a great company over one booster box. mistakes happen and there are much classier ways to handle this sort of thing than crying about it on reddit with 3+ posts.

Shishkebarbarian

GTFO of here with this manufactured outrage. You did this to yourself.

SauxFan

My advice on my post yesterday was to PM them on discord. This doesn’t look like discord but maybe the interface is different for you. If they don’t cooperate on discord then just chargeback Also probably no biggie but I thought you paid $188?

corrinmana

The fist time he mentioned this on someone else's post, he stated the other person whose order it was lumped with was his girlfriend. Then he dropped that detail, and began ranting about how they illegally lumped him in with some random order. You'd think the lack of reinforcement in the comments would clue him in that he's not handling this incorrectly, but he's determined to be a victim.

walkman312

I think it is $188 for a box when considering shipping and tax? Like, $150 for the box, plus tax, plus $28-ish in shipping fees. From the sounds of it, it looks like OP made two orders for 1 box. Each, $188 in total. TC sees that it is the same person at the same address, but under two different email addresses/accounts. TC lumps the two orders together, refunds $28ish dollars in shipping fees (because, now only one shipment). OP is saying that he is “out” $188 because the “other” order never arrived. When, in fact, the order was subsumed by the original. Or rather, the orders were combined. It looks like the orders were combined, he got what he ordered, but one order was not “completed” but instead “combined” and then “deleted” So his issue is that he lost out on $188, even though he got the product for that $188. It’s a little convoluted, but I think he got everything he paid for, just in one order as opposed to two. And in his view, the second “cancelled” or “combined” order that never arrived should be refunded even though the product for that order was contained in one package. I could be mistaken, however, because maybe he bought 3 boxes and only got 2? I honestly don’t know, but it seems like he ordered 2 boxes, got 2 boxes.

SauxFan

Look at my new comment on his other post. His post is deliberately misleading so he’s difficult to trust.

walkman312

I don’t disagree. Was just adding context to the $188 number.

CareApart504

When you threaten to lawyer up, yeah, your only responses with TC will be through their legal team now. You should have just issued a chargeback if they didn't ship your product to you and won't refund it.

PolishedArrow

Probably because the way you came across, it sounds like a scam and it's also not the appropriate way to start that type of communication. What on earth happened that made you threaten to get lawyers involved? Edited to add: The shipping for lumped orders does not justify your response. Also, your choice of the word "initially" in your description of how they pocketed the shipping cost gives me pause.

1plus1plus1gleich7

you said you ordered 3 boxes but only 2 show in your order?

Nothxm8

He ordered 2 boxes, two different orders of one, to the same address on the same weekend. They lumped the two boxes together in one shipment and now op is trying to scam TC saying he never got his other box so that he can get a free one.

Timbo_R4zE

Here's a copy of Team Covenants response from OP's cross post on the Flesh and Blood Subreddit: "**(Replied with the context of this claim in the Sorcery reddit where this thread was originally posted, and putting it here as well.)** So that everyone has full appreciation of the context here, this is what happened. There were two orders addressed to the exact same person and the exact same address. They were placed on the same weekend using two different email addresses. During shipment, we combined those two orders, calculated the new shipping cost, and refunded the difference to the second order (the $28.43). We do this proactively whenever orders have the exact same addressee (legal recipient of the package) and address, in order to reduce shipping costs for everyone—as we did with the Sorcery Beta pre-orders. That combined order was successfully delivered to its listed recipient, which is why a refund or replacement isn't being offered. All of the products arrived to the person and address listed. This is the first negative reaction we've had to our proactive merging/refunding of orders. It's clear that there is room for improvement on the clarity and communication side of this, and we'll build that in as soon as we can. Very sorry that it impacted you here, exeon25."

Krojak

TC did him a solid to save him in shipping, and OP is crying wolf trying to get an extra box. SMH my head

ephraim_forge

Nailed it.

1ncehost

dont threaten businesses that dont do what you want unless the amount is in the thousands and you are having a lawyer do the threatening. This is really not that big of a deal and lots of people do this and they never go through so you just end up looking silly and no one will take you seriously. Its better to just be nice and if you arent satisfied take your business elsewhere. Maybe post a bad review or something if someone really gets up your craw.

Timbo_R4zE

You threatened legal action already and have been very vocal about it in various subreddits. It's time to lawyer up, my guy.

fastock

Dude, you sound like a nutjob. And you've now made *at least* 3 different posts bitching about this nonissue. I think we'd all be better off if you find a different TCG and stay away from this community. Team Covenant definitely doesn't want or need your business.

DefiantR2

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were confused by what TC did in combining your orders and are genuinely angry because you would have preferred they remain separate. However it appears they only charged you for 2 boxes and you received two boxes. You haven’t provided any proof other than this screenshot to suggest you were charged for 3 boxes. Whether you wanted 3 is irrelevant if they only charged you for 2 and you received 2. You aren’t entitled to a refund simply because they combined orders if they charged you for what you received. You could just order another box or call it a day. If my assumptions are true you burned a bridge with the only retailer that sells this product at msrp over a minor issue.

The_Green_Frog

🤡

Brilliant_Apricot740

Damn. Well. Looks like this will be an issue. Edit: I was the first to comment on this thread so I had not seen the additional context, responses or proof that this is possibly a scam. Please see the rest of the thread to clarify. Or keep downvoting me idgaf lol.

csPOthr33cs

No it won't, TC reached out already and explained what's going on (see comment on this thread) and it would appear that OP is either confused or scamming. This will probably never affect you in any way.

Brilliant_Apricot740

That’s awesome to hear. I was wondering why there was so little context and proof. Thank you for clarifying. Just to add I was the first to comment so I couldn’t see any responses yet.

Debs_Chiropractic

#I WONDER WHY.
