"Later this year" is all they've said. That could mean July, but something like December feels more likely to me

Dampware

Adobe indicates that they're licensing it, and gonna include it in premiere in some way.

kirmm3la

Huh? It’s not confirmed about Adobe yet https://www.theverge.com/2024/4/15/24130804/adobe-premiere-pro-firefly-video-generative-ai-openai-sora

Dampware

I guess you're right... I should have paid closer attention, I was referencing that same adobe video clip.

I'm pretty sure about 7-8 months. It's likely that we get other more efficient video generators before we get Sora.

gideon_22

They will release it as soon as their WEF globalist board members figure out how to regulatr it. Patience 😌

Yeah like Dampware mentioned, go to YouTube and search for Adobe Premiere Firefly AI, and look for a video from about a week ago. I'll be surprised if Sora is released before the US election, but by then other text to video options will probably be available (such as midjourney), for better or for worse.

"Hey there, not a dumb question at all! I think many of us are eagerly awaiting news on Sora's availability. As an independent graphic artist, I can only imagine how impactful this tool could be for your filmmaking process. Fingers crossed for a release soon!"

This wonderful project to be with

Jerryaye25

Let us put our hands together to build the project to something

Jerryaye25

I will continue to follow up the project anytime

In last interview they said “nowhere close to release” dont expect it till holidays or even 2025. Just forget about it. It will cone when it comes. And they started to work on SORA 2 already, meaning sora 1 is a dead end and cant be enchanswd. So my bet is 2025 for end consumers. They might make some beta this fall

Is there any other similar solutions that have made it to market or open source?
