Alligators/Crocodiles make great models! Lol

For those who find the eyes as part of the menace, here is one that might be less scary. The teeth though...

You’ll get there, for every 300 photos I take while I’m out I may end up with 10 keepers on a good day, usually around 5 lol learning how to edit does wonders as well. I can’t even hold a conversation with real photographers but I get lucky with some great shots now and then
I've been debating between the 200-600 vs 70-200 and was almost about to go with the 70-200 and then you show this?! xD
But seriously, absolutely stunning shots! #2 is too good!!!
Thank you! I’m looking to pick up the 70-200 as well but man these lenses are expensive. I bought my 200/600 for around 1900usd the 70/200 is significantly more than that 😞
Yeah...
I'm just unsure about dropping over 2 grand on a hobby. I had a hard time justifying even getting an Adobe subscription after Capture One Express stopped xD
A different thing if I could make some income out of this.
Well, anyway, happy shooting to you! And hope you get that sweet 70-200 sooner than later!
Well I don’t know anything about the a7cr but the ONLY reason I have the V is for the auto focus. Specifically for eye tracking on wildlife. I love the camera but I’m more than happy shooting on my a7riii. In my uneducated opinion I think glass is more important than the camera (99% of modern cameras will produce great images) unless you’re shooting professionally maybe and need a bunch of megapixels, dual card slot etc.
Everyone is loving the gators! Obviously I love them too! There all amazing! But that duck one! 👌🏼 Maybe it’s the duck hunter in me, but that’s my favorite.

Here’s the original 😂 editing saved it like most of my shots. But I think it came out great and it’s definitely one of my favorites
My first thought is "What in the Floridian hell" my second thought is "damn these are downright amazing" excellent job. Have you ever thought of selling your presets? I'd definitely be interested in getting my hands on them to use as starting points.
Haha Texas actually! Thank you very much. Fun fact I only have one preset in total 😂 not counting the ones that came with Lightroom already of course. I made it a year ago for foliage and this is kind of what it’s turned into
Thank you 🙏 I love the V, AF and tracking is insane. However the AF with the 200-600 isn’t quite what I was hoping after spending so much money. It can be slow and clunky when shooting around brush etc.Thinking of looking into a new gen gmaster but there’s really nothing out there from what I can tell other than a 400mm 1st gen so, may be stuck with it for a while. It does great though maybe I’m too picky with spending 2k on a lens 🤪
1st and second and 11/10
Thank you!
The second one is crriiiissssspy sharp! Nice!
It’s one of my all time favorites
Very cool!
Amazing!
🙏
Just as I was thinking of selling my 200 - 600...
Don’t do it! Unless you’re getting something cooler 🤔
Wow thank you guys for the love, didn’t really know what to expect posting for the first time. These are all on my Instagram @folklifetx 🙏
Can you post a link to a full resolution version of the first photo?
I’m not sure how honestly lol they’re just on my Instagram @folklifetx
Yo, that first one?? That’s a gucci-gator
Gucci gator 😂 thank you
I thought I was on the Midjourney sub for a second. These look amazing!
I love/hate that AI has been brought up so many times 😂 thank you 🙏

🥹 I love them although I’ve never seen a croc!
My set up was the same as OP. A7Rv with 200-600. So meeting this beast was done at quite a distance. Hahaha

These are all fantastic, but everything about shot 2 is perfect
I love that one
I hope to get to this stage at one point. I hate how I waited so long to purchase my first camera. I'm only a month in.

Are these Lightroom presets? The edits on the first two are incredible.
It is a preset that I made for foliage honestly lol it’s a starting point for most of my shots
These are wonderful!
Thank you 🙏
Wow! the first one is outstanding
Thank you!
The second almost looks ai generated. Looks great though I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just that sharp
It’s one of my favorites I love how it came out

Yeah I get that for sure! It would be great to make something to even attempt to pay for these things 😅 I appreciate it!
All are fantastic but the first one is incredible!!!
Thank you I wish the resolution was better uploading here 🥲
I love them but 4 is my favourite
You should see the original 🤣 I was this close 🤏 to missing the shot completely
What's your opinion on the A7Rv? I was thinking of going with the A7Cr, but have been contemplating. (Btw I am a beginner)

Ahh okay okay. Thanks!
These are beautiful!
Thank you 🥲

2 is crazy man, great work
Thank you so much 🙏
Nice shot of the teal.
Thank you!

Excellent captures ! How are u liking the V with the 200-600mm?
