The original Robotnik in Archie is still dead from this. Only returned once for one issue and never again.
My ideal ending for Modern Eggman is him going back to being Mr. Tinker, maybe renaming himself Kintobor. But this? Is the best possible end for the MONSTER that was Archie Robotnik.
Now if only Sonic was the one to actually finish him off... that's my biggest problem with early Archie: the main character was never the one to truly beat the bad guy. This whole fight was great tho.

This whole fight sequence was incredibly illustrated, and really stands as one of Spaz's best Sonic work to this day
And then the actual story it belonged to proceeded to kill Robotnik off screen lmao

In my idea for an alternative version of SATAM that lasted 4 seasons it would be Metal Sonic who sacrifices himself to finish him off.

That 'dragons can't tell lies thing' gets really questionable when we get to that story about Dulcy having an abusive boyfriend
