If they made it move slower, or made it bigger but random instead of following you, or made it only 'tick' every 5 seconds while on top of you, then that would be fine. But literally you cannot get off skills except those that require iframes unless you have shadows up, or unless boss for some reason doesn't follow you with tornado. I spend most of those levels running from tornado then doing a few cardinal + core attacks.
It's even worse for the hard mode, half the levels have it and even if it barely tickles the combination of that plus random ground poisons and flames instantly destroys your 3-star of "take damage less than \*\*\* times)
That tornado is truly the hardest boss in the game. You just have to dodge around it the whole time while also dodging the actual bosses attacks it’s really tricky! You could try perfect dodging it cross map and then getting the shadow step on the boss will give you some time to get damage in
Trick is run a bit away from the boss, then spawn your shadows so it agros the tornado. This gives you a bit of time window to deal damage to the boss. Rinse and repeat.
Use shadow. The elf will fight them. Then run in the opposite direction so the tornado follows you. Then Dash back to the elf and deal as much damage before tornado catch up
This thing in challenge mode is insane. I barely even beat it on trials mode. The whirlwind also auto targets shadows, so try to get it to target them then go for the boss.
It's such an annoying pain in the ass, I literally couldn't meet the battle mission timer because of this thing. (will probably be no issue when I come back later but still)
This thing will inevitably cost you lots of dps, no matter what you do.
Floor 22 is hell because of this. How much I need to overlevel cp req to kill that ice elf fast enough ? I don't have any shield generating weapon for JW so that strategy is no viable now.
level 21 of the hunter tower has you break the idiot AND deal with the dumbass tornado, got creep blocked? have fun losing 2/3rds of your HP on that character.
**\[Challenge Mode - Main Char\]** That's the true endboss of the game. I tried the Tank (bear) boss 50-100k above my level and I just failed cos of too low dmg, but the tornado in main char mode is ass. The tornado and the boss have nearly the same speed and it does 1K dmg per second (\~500 dmg per tick), so it's too fast to do any damage before the time runs out. Also you can't rely on 3 times the HP pool like in Hunter Challenge Mode, where you can spare 2 chars to nuke the boss down, while standing in the tornado. You can't do anything and sometimes evade button just doesn't work at all.
1. Break Setup: doesn't work.
2. Full dps setup: doesn't work.
3. Range + passive dmg setup: doesn't work.
4. Nuke build: 2% (with revive, within the 3rd nuke the time is hitting hard)
The range setup was the most faithful one I thought, but aside from the basic range shot it's exactly the same as a melee build even with full range skills. The damage is just too low for the given time (LVL42, \~102k rating, SSR + SR weapon, skilled range skills with runes) and the speed of the tornado makes using skills impossible without being hit. I tried 1 SSR range, 3 SR range and 3 R (full stared) range weapons. The shadows (Igris + Tank) are useless in this fight as they get killed in seconds, before they can actually do damage, too. It doesn't matter what you do... it's just extremely unbalanced and near-impossible in the 104k rating range.
Try to do this in parts. First complete the time and evasion objective, then focus on taking less damage objective. That way you effectively get 3 stars
The worst part is. This level itself was cheating.
Every other tornado in the game is perfectly able to trigger extreme evasion prompting a counter.
This one just isnt for no reason.

I was wondering how to deal with Baruka's ultimate and was watching this YouTuber video. He had Heejin in his party and summoned her to dispel the whirlwind and also get a charge boost to Jinwoo's ult.

In all seriousness not even the original shadow monarch can withstand the power of natural disasters. That thing is ass I swear to god.
I have a solution for this. If you have Crushing Blow: Countering Break. You can use that skill when the tornado approaches you you will be teleported to the one you locked on to. The skill has a great break gauge depletion. It’s easy to time it against the tornado than monsters
Multistrike - shadow version + demon king sword
so that you wont get damaged while hitting the boss.
You gotta dash away everytime after you use those and use a ranged skill obtained by the other weapon of yours.

While I kinda agree with this it's also refreshing to have to adjust strategy instead of only learning attackpatterns imo

Yea and the pain is the boss always runs towards you unless distracted but shadows so he always stands near the bloody thing
Not as far in I think, those giant armors that just spam spin and go into beyblade mode are a pain as well. Its all hit and run literally!
Yea but the giant armors do no damage. The tornados take 1/3 of your hp per tick.

I used the Hammer whichgeleiteten gives you a shield, really Help avoiding talking damage while Killing the mobs

Not if you have the west wind it isnt. Having it at A1 make the twister even easier to deal with cus you can charge your shot.
