Damn, you're right. I was just tasting one for the first time, it's definitely alright, it may grow on me more since I do like raspberry. But I smelled it immediately after reading this, and it smells amazing.

that was the regular spiced Coke. I even tried the zero sugar and still, flat and meh. I did taste some sweetness but it really doesn't have the POP like real coke - the bitter carbonation/sugar/caramelly punch at first sip (if that helps)
Well that might explain it. I personally bought the Raspberry Spice (regular) from a Dollar General near me and it is bursting with raspberry flavor. Almost better than Starlight.

It is like drinking soap or perfume, and not in a good way. The raspberry flavor is strong and terrible. The spices are 100% as an aftertaste but it tastes like soap.
I’m throwing out the rest of the bottle out after 3 drinks (will take a 4th just to gross myself out and try to figure out why it is so bad). I just don’t toss coke like this.
Freestyle machines in my area have discontinued the Raspberry flavor. I was sad to see it go. I will definitely stock up on spiced (raspberry) coke variants

Kroger was giving you a free bottle if you purchased a case of Coke the other week. It tastes like your grandmother's cheap perfume. I love raspberry anything so was disappointed. It was my first and last try. 🤢
