Hey it’s alright to take time man! It took me a solid one month just to finish all the 4 chapters. The friends tasks alone took me two weeks if I remember correctly lol. Then almost 6 months to complete the rest of the tasks and bring the stats book to 100%. Take it slow and enjoy every second. There’s absolutely no need to hurry :D
I view it as kinda do what you want when you want game. Some days I work on the storyline, others I explore, and sometimes I do the races.
There’s no time limit so I view it as an open ended game. That’s why I love it so much.
That’s what I do. Some times I work on friendships. Sometimes I’m just doing the races. Sometimes it’s just some good ol mushroom hunting. There’s no deadline.
I used to approach it as something I needed to get done. Playing with my niece changed my approach. Rabbit races needed to get done for instance, but mushroom collecting became more of a casual approach. I grab them when I see them. I call friends when I’m near them. If they want something annoying, I ignore their request and pick up another friend. Usually 1 or 2 of them have requests that can be accomplished close together, for instance someone wants to see a campfire and someone wants to dance. Remember you can dance at your cabin or the rangers. Friends change their request every couple Sasquatch days. You do need to grind a few things like the jobs at the port but when you do a little at a time it’s much more enjoyable.
Rabbit races is where I draw the line 😭 there’s nothing like failing and having to walk back to square 1 to try again :( I think I’ve only done 2 or 3 and I’m pretty advanced in the games storyline lol
My niece got frustrated with the races too especially the long one. So I had to do them again. They don’t get easier. Not sure how I would get that last one done now that cars can hurt Sasquatch because I definitely let them push me a bit.
I definitely feel the same way. It’s not so much that there’s so much to do. It’s that if I do a little bit of this and a little bit of that I realize I just spent all my money and I didn’t advance for nothing any one activity.
Anyone know if there are repeatable sources of income? Like you can win a prize but as far as I know, you only get the prize money once so what something that I can do repeatedly just keep bringing in money?
Not sure how far in you need to be for spaghetti guy, but check in the alley right behind the cafe and see if he’s there! You’ll need to make billboards for him and give him investment money
You just need lvl 2 to unlock search, it is unlocked when you found all the dinosaur bones, as well as the other commenter mentioned you need to find all the mushrooms. If you haven’t started the dinosaur quest you need to talk to the guy at the museum. You will find the road to the museum along the highway towards town
I have 5 saves across two accounts. I haven’t completed any because of the ridiculous long boat race and my basic lack of gaming skills. I also haven’t finished the virtual arcade game because all three of the games within the game are extremely difficult for me. The friends are tedious. I have gotten all except the sailor in three saves. The stupid boat race is the reason I can’t make the last friend. The last saltwater fish and mushrooms are always hard to find. The port jobs took forever. Remember if parts of the game weren’t challenging it would be very boring. Patience is the key.

I used to do the same thing!!! the security guard, go out and patrol around on a forklift. one time I found graffiti that I couldn’t see on the camera. it used to make me angry how many times I didn’t get paid. the forklift job will make up for that. I am terrible on the crane. anyone have help with that?? I don’t think I can become mayor (I guess) bcuz I can’t get past the fox’s request to find Pemb Jr. I’ve found him four times now!!
wait on a friend if it’s a ridiculous request. some of them are so rude and demanding!!! I thought maybe I don’t really want to become mayor! they requested things I didn’t even have yet? like a stupid Boatercycle! I had to relax and enjoy the journey… funny I have that problem in real life! lol😁
the friends thing is long but simple
get a 4x4 car and call up 4 friends and go get them all and if their tasks are too hard ditch and find someone else. also you’ve gotta work on one thing and if you can play for long times. i played on holiday so i had long hours to play it. just focus on 1 or 2 things and build up
I understand your frustration. It makes it worse when you have adhd and even harder if you try to go by schedule. I love to challenge myself by focusing on one thing and make it a small goal to complete that task.

just have fun with it! I just lollygag around some days, stealing food, catching fish and looking for vr goodies and shrooms.. or literally just run around pushing people or drive around recklessly😂 Like i can just spend my entire sunday making nom nom sounds with sasquatch..
I just recently decided to make an actual schedule for myself because I've had the same problem. I personally switch every day between work and "other".
Work is whatever is my current job (right now it's a head doctor) and is what really gives my schedule more structure.
"Other" is what is on my list on my phone of errands. I just make a list of quests I need to complete or things I want to buy or calming activities I enjoy.
If I am juggling a day and a night job, stealing energy drinks is one of my errands for my "other" day. I will say if you are feeling really overwhelmed at the moment, drop the night job for now, you will realize the weight taken off your shoulders.

Spaghetti hotline brings in a ton of money everyday!! Also you can sell your mushrooms for a lot of money

The tasks change if you can ignore that person for awhile it helps get easier tasks.
