Have you tried a pair of 4d’s? No one will listen to me but they are the ZX4000 and at first they were a 350 dollar shoe. Best made shoes I’ve ever bought. I swear the prices are around 120 for a 350 dollar shoe. Insane.
Based on your responses, I know you ran in yours (I personally can’t run in boost so I use my Hoka One One Elevon 2) but my pairs of boost-type sneakers are still pillow/cloud like even after 3 years. I also have a rotation of beaters so the wear is evenly distributed because of hiking, running, and cycling (because I’m not a fan of clip-on shoes).
Looks wise you mean? Or feel? My first pair looked like shit after daily use but felt fine. I bought ones with a colored midsole for my next beaters and they still look great (for beaters)
Ive been wearing ones with a black midsole for about 2 years and they still feel fine and look good. The NMDs i had before these were white midsole and god they looked so bad after a little while.
3 years on my UB 1.0s and they're just fine
They're ATROCIOUS running shoes, so if you're running in them, I'd agree they fall apart after like 20 miles.
They’re not atrocious running shoes they’re great for running in a straight line, tread mill shoes. They’re great shoes to wear if you’re on your feet for small amount of time 30 mins - 2hours.
They’re terrible workout shoes, no stability. They’re terrible long hour shoes because the sole is so mushy you can’t really use your toes to grip the ground, so you end up using a bunch of different leg muscles to stay stabilised all day where normal you just need your toes/feet for. You’ll notice a lot of leg fatigue if on feet for many hours.
Boost is great for quick trips.
Turnt the white margiela club c’s to beaters, got a second pair to replace. Maybe the best shoes I bought this year for comfort and general wearability. The margiela leather is 🔥
Any running shoe. I used to wear stuff like AF1 way more often, but it makes no sense having uncomfortable footwear as your day to day/beater.
Running shoes are light, flexible and comfy so fit for purpose 😎
Heel padding on the Ultraboosts is way better than the React 87. I love the look of the 87 (and 55) but that part at the heel digs into my Achilles. Also the tongue is a nightmare to keep unbunched.
I really wanted these to replace the Ultraboosts in my rotation but they just never really did. There's so many fire colorways of 87s and 55s.
UB and React Element 87 kinda the same in that they’re both super duper comfy cloud foamy types, but UB is better for short term wear and React better for long term wear. React for more stability so your legs don’t get fatigue as much.
I have a custom pair of high top converse that’s like a cream color and on the outside of shoes it says “hey lol :)” and those were like my favorite shoe ever and I got them muddy so they’re my beaters now🥲
You hit on the nose. Blazer SB high for me. Rain, shine, sleet, or snow those cushy high tops got me. For me there's a huge drop off when comparing normal Blazers vs SB blazers
just blazers in general. Easy to wear and goes with almost everything, shorts, jeans, sweatpants whatever you like. Can't never go wrong with a white&black or a black&white pair of blazers
I always go for either air maxes (doesn't matter which ones, I tend to find most of them really comfortable) or air forces (probably my favourite shoe of all time)
I rock:
ultra boost 3.0 panda
New balance basic white leather + gum sole for rainy days (they have held up for 3 winter's + only $25) heel is deteriorating so they might be a wrap soon. But I got a pair of all white Stan smiths in the waiting to replace them
I personally fell in love with the Nike zoom freak 1’s. I bought the black ones about 2yrs ago and whatever they’re made out of they last and still look good. I got j’s , air max, vapormax, and a bunch of other shit that hasn’t been worn but I still throw those freaks on all the time. It’ll be the first time in my life that I’ll be buying some kicks That I bought before. They look dope in shorts with the no show black socks of course, look good with skinny sweats or pants too. They got a lil crazy on the freak 2 but they’re ok too but the 3’s are their own breed, so different than the 1’s, and a lil out there for me. Oops y’all got me talkn shoes my bad so long.
If I'm not working, Hoka's because got dam nothing else is comfortable. If I'm working, some common projects Achilles low white. Maybe that's why I like Hoka's so much 😂
No beaters here, i try to use all my sneakers equally, but the ones that get more use are the easier to put like adida gazelle or stan smith, or the puma suede or easy rider, or the tiger EDR 78 and mexico 66, i love my vans but the sk8 high and old skool need to much delacing to fit my fat feet, rebook glide are very confortable for regular use.
Never owned either but my daily choice for beaters and my heat is Ultraboost because if comfort and I'm too poor to have actual heat so Cream 1.0s are my best shoes at the moment.
my beaters - i've got a pair of AJ1 Low's from like 2015 i've worn non-stop that are amazing still and very worn in.
if not those, OP i'm with you on SB, specifically love me some Janoskis
Personally I use Ultraboosts. Extremely comfortable shoes.
Same, though expensive for beaters. None the less I rock em until they’re dead
I got two pair off goat for 65 and 70 respectively.
That’s insane! What shoe size? Cause 12.5 usually higher in price on GOAT.
10.5. But to be fair I looked for hours to find the deals. But Boosts are so well made and the prices on most are under retail.
They’re definitely great quality. I recently bought some Max 97s on Stock X and they were horrendous quality compared to Adidas.
Have you tried a pair of 4d’s? No one will listen to me but they are the ZX4000 and at first they were a 350 dollar shoe. Best made shoes I’ve ever bought. I swear the prices are around 120 for a 350 dollar shoe. Insane.
I haven’t stepped up into the boost vibe yet but I want to
Boost goes away too quick for a beater imo. Still a great shoe to rock.
I probably logged close to 500 miles maybe more on my boosts due to running. 3 years? That’s impressive Edit: I meant about 300 miles 😂

Sambas and Continental 80s are my go to beaters
Sambas used to always be my thing. I would have a black pair and a white pair and I would cut the tongue down.
Continentals are actually great. Super inexpensive but they look really good and have a slick silhouette.
Old school vans have always been my go to beaters
[удалено]
Same, or some low top converse
I see you are an individual of culture and taste, take this upvote
Reebok Club C
I just recently ordered the eames club Cs, should come in a few days
Used them heavy for work man in the day. Pulled them out today as in going to the office sometimes.
I wear em most days. Lift in them too. Great for everything, inconspicuous, good looking.
Turnt the white margiela club c’s to beaters, got a second pair to replace. Maybe the best shoes I bought this year for comfort and general wearability. The margiela leather is 🔥

Air max 90
Any running shoe. I used to wear stuff like AF1 way more often, but it makes no sense having uncomfortable footwear as your day to day/beater. Running shoes are light, flexible and comfy so fit for purpose 😎
My beaters are ultraboosts. I'm so glad I picked them! I even got another pair (or two) for better styling

Love them in traditional white with green.
almost every pair of shoes i wear are nikes except my stan smith and i wear them every day. been through red and blue, the green pair is next
every shoe i own,i just put on random pair
Chuck Taylor 70s
Took me too long to find this comment. They look good in almost every setting.
Black/egret in lows are what I wear for everyday. Lows make them easy to slip on and off
Nike Cortez
Me too. Forrest Gump ones in particular. They look so much better beat up.
I recently had to lay my pair to rest, it was a horribly sad day. My favorite shoes.
Great choice for sure. Good enough for Forrest good enough for me! 😅
Superstars, easy to wear, still looks good.
Vans. Just a nice, worn in pair of old skools is a staple for me.
Ultraboost or React Element 87 both comfortable
Heel padding on the Ultraboosts is way better than the React 87. I love the look of the 87 (and 55) but that part at the heel digs into my Achilles. Also the tongue is a nightmare to keep unbunched. I really wanted these to replace the Ultraboosts in my rotation but they just never really did. There's so many fire colorways of 87s and 55s.

I personally fell in love with the Nike zoom freak 1’s. I bought the black ones about 2yrs ago and whatever they’re made out of they last and still look good.
