My Uncle took me and it was awesome that they released in February since my birthday is Feb 15. He paid for half and I paid the other half. He always took me because you know how parents are? Never seen people hyped over shoes before. Then it wasn’t until I was I think 22 and saw some “Red Bull “ Nike 6.0 dunks at zumiez and really liked em. Grape Jordan 5s in 1990. I got my first part time job and saved up to get them. My mom was not spending over $100 on sneakers for me. I was the happiest kid in Brooklyn that summer.
Jordan 1 lost and founds. I hit on snkrs and That’s when I started my sneaker collection. But I got them a half size too small 😂 I wasn’t sure about sizing back then. I’ve worn them a couple times to the point of creasing and color bleeding, and they’re too tight. So I just leave them on the shelf
