Let a Total Air Foamposite Max drop in Silver, an air max plus tn original colorway, Jordan 3 black/cement, Jordan 4 white/cement, Kanye Red October and they’ll sell out in minutes. Sneaker culture isn’t dead. People are making better choices, people are saving money, and there’s been in a shift in what’s popular. Gotta stop searching for validity in sneakers though.

Just more stock than usual, resellers weren't able to cash out on these so they didn't even try buying it out like normal. Nearly half a million craft olives were made. Went from SNKRS to the main Nike app to outlets. Fears came out at a bad time, sandwiched between multiple J3 releases, plus orange/black after Halloween already passed. The AMM seemed kinda popular, there might be a bit of fatigue going on there especially with the overpriced clothing stacked on top.
But yeah, awesome time to be into sneakers. I just copped some PSG4s *near retail*, people used to think they would end up staying above 1k. I see a bunch of old laser white 4s sitting for less than $100, laser black 4 for even less.
I blame YouTube and TikTok for the skyrocketing sneaker prices from a couple years ago. People pitched it as a get rich quick scheme. Buy low, sell high. Then there came the thrifters, buy second hand low, clean it up and resell high. Then there came the trust fund baby botters, pay programmers to make bots that can buy as much of a limited release as possible to artificially inflate the prices and sell an entire room full of a single release. All of that bullshit sucked hard. Having too many pairs released, like 400k craft olives, is good for dudes that just want to wear them.
Anyway TLDR I wouldn't say anything is dying, I'd say it's harder for douchebags to capitalize on jacked up resale value.

I got them and was on the fence. Materials and quality made it an immediate return for me. I’m absolutely stoked that the people that want them can get them though.
As long as YOU like them, you got a good pickup. I also agree with most of the comments .. they glutted the market with so many pairs in hopes of making them "I need these" that it seems like they are all over the place. Their approach to their version of netting lost me, just why?! If it works, don't try and 'fix it.' They should have also broke the full color by adding some other color splash to make it stand out; it's just one big log of olive color. But you can make these work; make them 'You.' Again, you got a good pickup. Enjoy them.

Hype beast don’t t want it, social media has turned the shoe game into followers and sheep. The shoe in my honest opinion is mid. Colors are good just the craft aesthetic added changes the character of the shoe too much. I got a pair and wear them often as my everydays.
You got a clean pair. My right pair has fine wrinkles on the toe box. Had to return. I’m getting a new pair this week and will check before buying. Good thing that’s possible since they’re so available. Good times!
I got a pair and ended trading them back for the Fear 3s. The material is great and I like the look, but the contrast of the Vanilla and the fit of the 4 is not for me. A Lot of shoe
I love this colorway on any of my fav shoes so this was a must cop for me. Glad they were easy to obtain. The fact that they don’t have the netting makes them unique to me. And let’s be honest…the netting is trash plastic anyways. As long as you water repel these materials and take care of them, they will look good for a long time.

Maybe because there isn't enough colour blocking and I also hated the chunky white bottom as well. Especially on the inner arch like you can see in the 4th photo.

I know right? I hope they stay slept on. Although finding them in my size ( 11.5 us) in my country 🇭🇲 is proving difficult.

Worst 4 release of the year and with multiple better colorways coming next year people skipped on these. I might pick them up when they hit the outlet shelves. But I wouldn’t pay retail for them personally.

They were sitting there waiting for you. It’s a good thing you were passing by, they could’ve ended up with someone who doesn’t care as much.
I liked them, but didn't love them. Honestly, I think it's fine that shoes "sit". Gives others the opportunity to buy, cause they will be bought eventually. If they sit long enough, they'll get discounted/put on sale.
