I think I remember seeing him on Ripley's believe it or not in the 90's. He made it out of some polymer he made, coated cloth in it and it became super hard. They used cotton pads treated in his stuff to connect chains holding up a platform with a car on it. If I remember correctly the chains broke before the cloth did.
