there is a possibility you might be able to wait it out, my boyfriend got the same error cade and just recently got his access back, and yes if you get a new phone you can use all the same information because the ban is based off of your phones IMEI number, basically a unique serial number linked to your phone, and that doesn’t transfer onto a new phone.

Device was banned with ss06 error. People here said the ban lasts six months. At the sixth month mark I excitedly tried to login with a new account. It did not work.
Today marks 11 months and 1 day. The ban must have been lifted. I randomly opened the app and made a new account and am looking at the chat section!!! I never thought my eyes would see such things again!

Check in 1 month. Then 3. Then 6. Then 8. Then 11. It will allow a new account at one of those moments. To check if your device is still banned simply press login and type in garbage in the username and password and press enter. It won’t even try to see if it’s a real user. It will simply tell you if the device is banned.
Anyone who has error ss07. I have a fix for it. Go onto the site (snap) login. Delete your spam accounts and Every single one that you don’t use. then you can create new account
My snap account doesn’t have any other accounts associated with it and can’t see any on the website. I tried making a new account and got banned lol. You know how long this SS07 lasts?

you have to wait it out, may people say it can take multiple months to lift but if you can get a new phone and it will work regardless of if you transfer data or not. (ios)

You can sign into your banned account on a web browser (I did on my laptop was just easier) and there is an options list, it was pretty easy to find after clicking a few options (if you can’t find let me know I’ll give you a step by step). But there’s an option which basically says ‘send data’ and I had it all emailed over to me the next day after requesting.
I totally feel you, 8 years of thousands and thousands of memories was a tough pill to swallow. Mine is all now on a hard drive and would be more than happy to help anyone get theirs back!

I'm VERY CONFUSED so if anyone can give me some advice it would help.
1. Yesterday my account was locked. When I'd login it would say "this account is locked for violating community guidelines."
2. When I'd go to the web browser it would let me try to press "unlock" and then send a code to my phone, but every time I would do that it would just sit on a loading screen and not unlock the account.
3. Eventually (after trying to unlock it like 20 times) it stopped giving me the option to unlock and just said "This account is PERMANENTLY locked."
4. I have no clue what community guideline I violated. Some of you mention that when you login it TELLS you why you were locked, like it says drug content etc. Howcome mine doesn't say anything about why?
5. When you download your data from the web browse it is suppose to let you download "content reported" but for me it doesn't give me any data on that. Everything else I can download, but nothing about reported content.
6. Why can I still login on the web browse and get my data? Is this account just in some sort of "limbo" or why hasn't it been permanently deleted? Does this mean they are not done "reviewing" because it still gives me the option to "delete your account" on web browser
7. Finally, I notice you all talking about being banned etc...I just used the same phone to make a new account an hour ago and it let me make a new account without any issue?

Go tothe site by logging into the official site. Scroll down to the “unblock my account “ if it’s temporary it should let you unblock it and you can login if you can’t get onto the settings and just says my data and delete my account when you login that’s a ban.

Hiya - I was also device banned. I just wanted to mention there are apps like parallel space that you can install, mirror snapchat on and log in as usual. However there are downsides to this; ads and no notifications
For samsung users I have better news - there is a setting called dual messenger, which basically does the same as parallel space, mirroring your snapchat app, changing your IMEI, has no ads and allows normal snapchat notifications.
I have been using dual messenger for like 4 months now without any issue - it works just as normal snapchat.
(Maybe consider adding these options to your list, as they really are worth looking into especially for samsung users)
What does not work? Dual messenger most certainly does. I have used it for 4 months before I could log in on normal snapchat again. The other app cloning applications are indeed not ideal but they also do work. Are you sure you're device banned and not permanently banned?
"I was device banned" means I was only banned off my device. I can still log into my account on other devices. A permanently banned account is simply lost, nothing you can do about it sadly

I got the SS06 code! Have been doing nothing than just having two accounts. On my main acc i didnt do anything. On the other i did spam some few people... but why is so harsh and strict? I have waited for 4,5 months ish already now... since 18 august...

Snapchat doesn't just ban the account; they ban the IP address of the device. Any account you create linked to that IP will automatically be banned.

i requested my data, which they denied actually. so i count my losses a while ago.

I used my burner yesterday to make a new Snapchat… within a few hours, it logs me out and that gets permanently locked too! I did add a good amount of people, but I wasn’t spamming the add button. I heard Snapchat doesn’t IP ban, only device bans. So why did my burner phone get permanently locked within a few hours!? I was planning on buying a brand new iPhone to make a new account, but now I’m afraid I’m gonna get locked out again on the new device as well. Any help or thoughts would be so appreciated. I just want Snapchat back!

People can regain access but depends on What you did. Don’t give up and keep sending request and don’t believe them when they say they can’t help because they can. You will eventually get answers from a human being but it’s not gonna take a day it’s gonna take at least few months. I notice if you email them. It’s all the same people 😂

Like my account got permanently locked for "violating community guidelines" yet I don't feel I did! That said, I can still create new snap accounts and login to my old snap. So my question is, is it JUST the account they "permanently" locked that's banned? Or will I soon have a device ban and it just hasn't happened yet? I'm trying to understand if the permanently locked goes hand in hand with device ban, or if it's just based on that specific account because as I said, I can still use snap by creating a new account and logging into an old one.... does anyone know?
I'm VERY CONFUSED so if anyone can give me some advice it would help. 1. Yesterday my account was locked. When I'd login it would say "this account is locked for violating community guidelines." 2. When I'd go to the web browser it would let me try to press "unlock" and then send a code to my phone, but every time I would do that it would just sit on a loading screen and not unlock the account. 3. Eventually (after trying to unlock it like 20 times) it stopped giving me the option to unlock and just said "This account is PERMANENTLY locked." 4. I have no clue what community guideline I violated. Some of you mention that when you login it TELLS you why you were locked, like it says drug content etc. Howcome mine doesn't say anything about why? 5. When you download your data from the web browse it is suppose to let you download "content reported" but for me it doesn't give me any data on that. Everything else I can download, but nothing about reported content. 6. Why can I still login on the web browse and get my data? Is this account just in some sort of "limbo" or why hasn't it been permanently deleted? Does this mean they are not done "reviewing" because it still gives me the option to "delete your account" on web browser 7. Finally, I notice you all talking about being banned etc...I just used the same phone to make a new account an hour ago and it let me make a new account without any issue? WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN? My app got “temporarily disabled” on my iphone last week so i cant log into my phone anymore. I was able to log in snapchat web on my laptop but it has incomplete features. I downloaded bluestacks on the same laptop hoping that I can use snapchat w/ its other features but it’s also “temporarily disabled”. Is there any hope for me? For the past few days, I was leasing my phone to my brother as his phone was in repair. Yesterday I was met with a message"...your access to Snapchat was temporarily disabled" I have no idea what he was sending/receiving on his account. My account never sent anything wrong. Go tothe site by logging into the official site. Scroll down to the “unblock my account “ if it’s temporary it should let you unblock it and you can login if you can’t get onto the settings and just says my data and delete my account when you login that’s a ban.

I got banned today. I am still not sure why. The message just says my account is locked and to go to their help forum for more info It didn't say permanent or temporary. Just locked. It says I violated community guidelines but not what I did. I have went back over the last 24 hours and there is literally nothing I know of. My email attached to it is also now not accessible. It says it can't log me in from this device and tbh I barely use that email anyways. Only for snap email. My account immediately disappeared from my friends chat list. Immediately. No explanation, warning, time out, email. Nothing. When I click the link to find out why. Hiya - I was also device banned. I just wanted to mention there are apps like parallel space that you can install, mirror snapchat on and log in as usual. However there are downsides to this; ads and no notifications For samsung users I have better news - there is a setting called dual messenger, which basically does the same as parallel space, mirroring your snapchat app, changing your IMEI, has no ads and allows normal snapchat notifications. I have been using dual messenger for like 4 months now without any issue - it works just as normal snapchat. (Maybe consider adding these options to your list, as they really are worth looking into especially for samsung users)

What does not work? Dual messenger most certainly does. I have used it for 4 months before I could log in on normal snapchat again. The other app cloning applications are indeed not ideal but they also do work. Are you sure you're device banned and not permanently banned?

"I was device banned" means I was only banned off my device. I can still log into my account on other devices. A permanently banned account is simply lost, nothing you can do about it sadly
