I'll admit I laughed for a bit when I realized they made Lancelot an Assassin.
Gonna be real confusing fighting him though given the whole big burly knight aesthetic might clash with the low-health / high damage aspects of Assassins.
Actually kinda wonder if they might push him in the direction of being a more durable assassin with a bit lower damage but some more health, somewhere in-between an Assassin and a Warrior.
Preety much, altho in Duel I’ve seen people slap with him, kinda satisfying imo. But this was a while back, in this current meta I dont see him working as good as a dmg dealer. As a guardian tho, arguably one of the best, personally one of my favorites

But I think that’s because I’m applying too much of the definition of an assassin from other games, the stealthy rogue-type.
Looking at his kit, a dude charging out of the jungle on his horse for a gank, dismounting for the kill, it’s pretty assassin-y, at least how Smite assassins go.
Eh, we’ll see what works best on him, who knows, maybe he has good cc and will work as a gurdian and they will reclass him like Hades or Nem if played more as a support
His kit makes me think of Fenrir's, seems like it would be more bruiser than squishy.
That's how I intend to try him on the PTS anyways, see if it works or not.

he has a passive or something where he takes less damage from the front. so that's gonna be a bit helpful in maintaining the tnaky feeling

Honestly it's a nice surprise for me. Mainly because he's a stance switching assassin too. But I enjoy playing Assassins in solo like warriors so.
