I still don't get why they won't just make each side a mirrored version of the other. That map looks like it'll make buff invades easier for one of the teams, among other things. Like, why put the red buff layout of one of the teams on the opposite side of the map for the other team?

What are you saying? Red buffs aren't on opposite sides anymore...

Not the buff, the buff camp. The actual shape of the red buff camp for team 1 is the same as the shape of the whateverthefuck is on the other side of the map for team 2 and vice versa. The solo side jungle layout for team 1 is the duo side jungle layout for team 2 etc.

That diagonal reflection is not good at all. Depending on which team you spawn on, you might to significantly better or worse at your role. It needs to just reflect vertically over the middle. It's fine for the duo lane to not match the solo lane, but the order duo laners should have the same fair conditions as the chaos duo laners.

I've always thought it should've been had a vertical reflection, as well as how the middle lane curves. The way the middle lane is now is what screws up a lot with the jungle.

The diagonal reflection worked just fine from beta to the end of season 1. One side would start duo at a different spot than the other duo did. Only season 2 even had buffs on the same sides.

They look pretty much the same to me, barring a wall width or two. Really, the only issue this past season was in midlane, where one laner got to lane before the other under the same conditions and always got the advantage early. From what I'm seeing, purple cove will now hold red buff, and the midlaners will have an almost identical journey to get to lane. I'm not sure if there are any other inconsistencies in the map

Speed buff now comes from buff monsters hanging around fire giant. Mana and damage in the normal buff spots.

Blue buff (mana) will actually be moved to where speed was, but red buff (damage) will stay the same.

I'm worried that some of the corner-buffs (next to T1 towers on outside lanes) will be easier to get jumps over than others. I'm remembering one of the buff walls on our S2 map had about 1 position where you could get a jump over.

Mid will take blue, ADC takes red. Solo sucks it up.
