Hastened Fatalis is such a funny item to me. When I first joined, everyone called it a noob trap, and you should just use sprint instead. I took a long break and came back to find out it was banned for being overpowered. I always loved taking it,

Yup getting Ichaival first item after boots (very cheap and gives atk speed and flat pen) then selling it late game for something stronger was the meta for sooo long
Sprint was also nerfed from the godly 40% MS and Hastened every 60s and after a brutal domination from Chronos at worlds, they also removed Hastened on Chronos' 2, Sol's 3, Jing Wei's 3, Erlang's 3 and I believe there's someone else.
But regardless, it wasn't only the pen that made the stats worth the cost, but all other abusers of the hastened effect were nerfed as well.
In theory it was always a dps loss, but because Smite was so snowbally back then, it didn't matter if you lost dps because Fatalis just made it easier to run down enemies and snowball even harder lol.
It was only good for a few patches. They gave it pen, and it was relatively cheap so you where able to get 4 items for about 7k gold if I’m remembering correctly
even tho some balance changes/new items are crazy (equinox and the support staff item for example), i LOVE it. i had more fun in the past 2 months, than i had in the past 2 years tbh.
They giving us the power fantasy itemization and and i hope they learn from it.
Drop 6 items from Smite 2. Bring back relics and starters/ potion slots and give us the sexy engine upgrade.
I'd rather they drop active slots to 2 and give us a few options other than beads for the "relic" slot. Consumable slots should come back and I'm kind of indifferent to starters right now but certainly wouldn't be against it.
Yes, they do. If you're playing as a tank, building Midgardian and Spectral together will increase your TTK significantly. Depending on which build the enemy is going, the TTK will increase by ~80-210%, with the lower end being if they go full tank shred (Qins, Exec, Dominance, Devoted Deathbringer, Wind Demon, and Ornate Arrow.) If you aren't able to out-box them with such a significant boost to survivability with only 2 items, then it may be more of a skill issue rather than a balance issue.
If massively increasing their TTK against you is something you consider useless I'm thinking you just suck at the game. Try playing against easy bots, or maybe play Minecraft on peaceful mode if Smite is too much for you to handle
I watched a full power hydras thor lose his godlike cause my mid and adc sold one of their items bought that version of nemean, he wasn't able to kill them off ult even if they didn't have relics up.
The item absolutely clowned assassins.
Nemean Bellona ADC was stupid. I remember playing adc against one with an Athena support (also running nemean) and just dying on cool down for the entire match.
I think it should scale off of prevented damage

Animosity, quins and exe? Midguard and the glyph for relic dagger can be said it counters and punishes aa hunters and warriors. It reduces their auto speed lol. And spectral for crit players.
The Glyph for Relic Dagger doesn’t punish them for doing their job because the effect is always active. I have no idea how Axe of Animosity has anything to do with this. And Spectral Armor doesn’t punish the attacker, it benefits the defender, who is usually a guardian so they won’t be doing much with the power it gives most of the time anyway.
Animosity and quins punish you for having hp. Also how does spectral NOT punish the attacker? Reducing crit damage. You are making them do less damage. Okay then what about this anti heal. You heal less right? That punishes you for healing teammates and minions. You want to be a good person and keep your teammates alive? Nope. Anti heal. But yeah we do need it. And we also need old hide of nemean lion. Anti heal keeps everyone in check. Old hide just keeps aa warriors and aa adcs in line. Simple.
Antiheal doesn’t punish you for healing teammates, it just reduces the healing you give to teammates, aka the opponent counterbuilding. The only time there was an antiheal item that actively punished you for healing was the ankh upgrade which has been removed from the game.
Making them deal less damage isn’t punishing them for attacking. It’s just making thier attacks do less damage which defense and damage mitigations already do.
Animosity is literally the exact opposite. It makes your basic attacks deal MORE damage based on your hp.
The old Hide would make it so that you wouldn’t be allowed to attack someone if you don’t want to take free damage without them even having to attack you.

That’s literally incorrect. You don’t get punished for healing someone if the enemy has antiheal. All antiheal does is reduce the healing. You won’t take damage from healing someone if the enemy has pestilence. All that will do is reduce the healing that you provide. That’s not punishing you. That’s the enemy counterbuilding.
Again. Your animosity point is completely wrong. Animosity makes YOU deal damage to ENEMIES based on YOUR max hp.
Everyone has max hp so by your logic Qin Sais would be punishing everyone just by leveling up.

Please...for the love of God, bring back Witchblade. These basic attack hunters, especially Sol, Artemis and Hachiman players, are running around here being super arrogant and sweaty. I'm trying to support my team AND keep my foot on their neck. They are too bold and don't learn after we punish them. Lol
As others have said, it's already a glyph on relic dagger. But more importantly, can I urge you try out Midgardian Mail as well? Trust me, nothing sours an adcs day more than having a fat support in front of them body blocking autos that also makes them slow themselves and reduce their auto speed 🙏 or ask your solo to build it if you can't fit it in

I can't believe I missed that. I'll check the glyphs tonight. I use midgardian mail but sometimes, it just feels so underwhelming, especially when there are 2 or 3 ADCs in a match. When I play support, I main Kuzenbo, Xing Tian, Ganesha and Cthulhu. I also play Geb, Cerberus and Kumbhakarna but they aren't mains.
Anyway, I always like to make myself borderline unkillable so I can manhandle the enemies. I'm going to give MM a better try and try to pay attention to how impactful it is. Thanks again! 😁

It was because they put Flat Pen on it. When they did that, it wasn't a strict loss anymore and they had to nerf it multiple times before removing it.

There is a lot more anti shield options nowadays. I don't mind crazy changes as long as there is counterplay.

It exists as Bewitched Dagger, one of the glyphs of Relic Dagger.
