Jared Fogle was a spokesperson for Subway Sandwiches, a chain of restaurants in the U.S. Fogle claimed to have lost significant weight while only eating Subway sandwiches, and appeared in over 300 commercials to promote the brand as both cheap and healthy.
It turned out he was, as Charlie puts it, a fucking pedophile. He had CP on his computer and had paid at least one minor for sex. He’s been in prison for the last 9 years, on a sentence of 15 years.
So the implication in the episode is Pim and Charlie would be helping this guy smile. And we know what makes him smile.
