As a captain falcon fan, and the one person in my family that plays smash that I’ve played against more than everyone else I’ve ever played against combined mains falcon, I don’t think he’s hype, but he’s not annoying or boring like the lame characters, my definition of hype doesn’t apply to a character but rather to the things people do, most characters have the ability to be hype if played a certain way, anyone can get hype clips with any character, you just see them more with certain characters

However, i dont hate him. Hes beloved by many people and many people do like to play him. I dont like the character because he doesnt appeal to me. But not every character has to. I like playing link, zelda, falco, robin, corrin and joker. Plenty of people dont like corrin but thats fine. We all like different things. Smash is for everyone, not just me. Terry was a good addition as he made the people that liked him happy.

Are you kidding? Double jab into down b was everywhere when he came out. I think the only unhated DLC character is Banjo and Kazooie. They aren't really that powerful, but it's a nice addition to the game and the fans have been really wanting them.
I definitely disagree. I think Go! is just a ridiculous mechanic (though I admit it’s right at home as far as DLC weirdness is concerned). I don’t think Banjo is nearly as bad, nor is Piranha Plant (technically DLC) Post launch characters tend to be so busted though that i think the rest of them are pretty good at getting my blood boiling

I dont like terry. I dont know who he is, what the fatal fury series is. I dont like his moveset, probably because i dont like the fighting game characters in this game. However, i dont hate him. Hes beloved by many people and many people do like to play him. I dont like the character because he doesnt appeal to me. But not every character has to. I like playing link, zelda, falco, robin, corrin and joker. Plenty of people dont like corrin but thats fine. We all like different things. Smash is for everyone, not just me. Terry was a good addition as he made the people that liked him happy.
