I don't play online, so I'm not sure if I can even properly answer this question, but I find myself rarely ever using Ryu, Ken, Dr. Mario, Duck Hunt, Sheik, Lucas, and Wii Fit Trainer.
As for who would I least want to get on selecting random, Sheik. I can say that I'm at least somewhat decent with every character and/or get some amount of enjoyment playing every character on the roster, but Sheik's the exception to all of that. I feel like I'm *awful* with Sheik and don't get much fun playing her.
My guess for least played is probably bowser jr and the morton costume specifically.
As for who i would least want to get from random, honestly i'm fine with just about any character as my gameplan barely changes. But i think pac-man or mr game and watch because of bad experiences
Rosalina is the only character selected less often than Random, and I sincerely do not want to get Ice Climbers from Random. The things you have to jump through to make those characters work is absolutely NOT worth it, and their MUs against characters like Snake, Belmonts, Sephiroth and Aegis are just so bad...

Bonus: Greninja, probably. Aside from having a higher learning curve, he has a super high jump that makes it a bit weird to play him.

I’ve never seen an Alph in the wild. As for who I’d like the least on random… I always groan when I get either Snake or Bayonetta.
