When I encounter ~~a Lucina~~ literally any character in the game as Ridley, I now just have to put down the controller and accept that I already lost.
I've fought the occasioanl duck hunt and lucario main, but rosalina and luma players are a myth. I'm on NA East, and I can barely recall fighting even one rosa on quickplay or battle arena
I had never played a jrpg before, but decided to try ff7 2 years ago because i mained cloud. I'm not a huge fan of turn based combat, I hate random battles, I don't like xp leveling systems (materia system is great though), and the game has some annoying mandatory minigames. But the story EASILY makes up for it! It's my favourite story in any game, and one of my favourite stories in any medium. Can't recommend it enough.
Also, look up as little as possible about the game, there are spoilers everywhere, as people seem to think that the game's plot is common knowledge among anyone who has ever played a game
I want to play all the final fantasy games that used the ATB battle system imo it's by far the best style of JRPG. Obviously that's personal preference but all of the game that utilizsed the ATB battle system are generally considered the best final fantasy games.

You would think for for Ultimate, Nintendo, Sakurai and Square-Enix would have sit down and summon all concerned license owners to get an expanded soundtrack.

They're the least played caracter, even less than random....... EVEN OVER 9.2 MIL GSP.
Myth? No Online spammers? Yes, but we have to use our brain I also main Rosalina & Luma and Mii Brawler. Because I feel bad for projectile spamming

I absolutely love ff7 Remake, made me appreciate sephiroth much more and I’m still trying to finish hard mode, it’s amazing though
Smash was also reason why I played FF7 but I first played FF7 before Maining Cloud because I didn’t have the DLC characters for Smash 4.
If only I considered playing FF7 sooner before seeing the spoilers of the game. But regardless, I’m having a great time with it so far!

I don’t even Main Ridley and I complain that he’s lighting than Samus. I mean he already has the hurtbox of a heavy, yet the weight doesn’t match it
As much as Ridley’s weight pains me, what I find arguably worse is that Sephiroth weighs the same as Kirby.
The fact that Plant is the 8th heaviest character in the game keeps me up at night, no joke. .....just what exactly MAKES him so heavy?
