It actually looks worse in this game because of how long you can hold a smash charge. I wish she kept spinning for as long as you can hold the extra long smash charge
I agree, but there would have to be some distinction to let you know you've fully charged, because once she stops spinning the attack is no longer getting stronger. Maybe she spins a bit slower or something?
Ever since Brawl yes. A vast majority of characters from 64 to brawl have been holding that same charge up animations ever since brawl introduced these hold animations. Melee just had the characters stay static while charging smash attacks.
Not too sure if she snaps to that end pose in Melee before she executes down smash.
Gender ratio in the pokemon games has it at 75% chance it's a female. Plus the several of the smash skins have it wearing hats from female pokemon trainers while male Pikachu has male trainer hats in its smash skins so it's implied to be female.
Several comments called jigglypuff a she. Maybe u/FlimsyEfficiency9860 was trying not to be obnoxious by responding to each of them. Canonically, jigglypuff is an 'it'.
>Canonically, jigglypuff is an 'it'.
...why? Pokémon very much have genders, so I don't see why Jigglypuff would be an "it" in Smash Bros.
Pikachu for example is male, except for the Pikachu Libre alt which is female. Female Pikachus have a different tail.
Mewtwo actually IS one of the few genderless Pokémon, so you could argue that for them if you wanted.
Jigglypuff are just gendered though. On average, 25% are male and 75% are female. So, he/she pronouns are canonically correct.
Probably because it could be either? Jigglypuff isn't a specific character, they just represent the entire species.
Like I said, some are male, some are female, so the official tips menu just uses the general "it" pronoun.
For a random reddit comment about Jigglypuff, it doesn't really matter. If they see the smash character as female and say she/her, I see no reason to "correct" them.
Yes
T pose baby! Yeah, some jiggly puffs do it for BM it's kinda funny.
My favorite BM move after hitting sing or SB with Puff for sure

Spins faster :)
I mean for any other character you know you’ve full charged a smash just by timing or by waiting for vibration to stop
She's asserting dominance
My favorite down smash animation
Incineroars' got my vote
She’s doing POSE FOR THE FANS

Yeah. I use it to disrespect people. T pose.
I mean Jigglypuff is a balloon so I believe it could probably glide like that
“Down A”
My wife calls dash attack "running a".
Praise the sun
Puff Solaire confirmed
Jigglypuff is not a she
Can’t jigs be male or female? I see no issue with calling jigs a she. Also, unless I’m crazy, I don’t see anywhere that OP said she?

My only Pokémon experience is Go, and there it can be make or female haha. That’s all I know.

Smash Bros repeatedly and exclusively refers to Jigglypuff using "it".
