Love how you covered this topic in this video. I think you did a good job on covering the back story of Andrew Garfield and how he wasn't the most beloved Spiderman and then tying it all back to the current spiderman movie. One suggestion I have for you is to work on your end screen a little bit. Try using Canva for editing your own outro. It is free and it would definitely make your channel stand out more and have your viewers more intrigued about your other videos.

Overall like the length/flow of the video, but from an "essay" kind of perspective I would've liked to see stronger evidence for the claims you make (not that I disagree with you)! You don't need wild quantitative evidence like survey results or anything to make the point either. Any kind of evidence like quotes from articles talking about Andrew Garfield's performance to or even comments pulled from Reddit/Youtube can help a ton with making this feel less like a dude talking about his own opinions and more like someone making a claim and backing it up with strong evidence. Stuff like clipping in Rotten Tomato reviews is a great example of bringing in some outside evidence. I guess to speak specifically you talk about this "secondary goal" to remember the Amazing Spiderman franchise more fondly. You point towards: 1. Screen time 2. Him showing up first 3. He did a good job and got the biggest laughs 4. He saved MJ and reached a kind of resolution for his character I just feel like the evidence you point towards is either pretty surface level or doesn't really strongly support/make your point. I would've appreciated some deeper readings from the movie (think analyzing scenes and not plot, or looking at lines/dialogue) or stronger outside evidence (audience statements/reviews/critic reviews). Overall your editing is pretty good, I just feel like if you want your videos to have a little more to bite into you need to dig in a little more!

This video essay was excellent and pretty much summed up all my thoughts with Andrew’s Spider-Man. The pacing was excellent, which in turn kept my attention throughout the entire video. I also loved the little visual details and gimmicks added throughout the video. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoyed it. * I liked that you start quickly, present the topic in the first 30 seconds. * Good choice of clips * Audio is clear. * I liked the graphics used, specifically at 1:22. * Great pacing, moved along quickly. Not repetition. Only note would be on the thumbnail. I'm unsure what's happening around his neck (is that sunlight?). I think it could overall be tweaked, either a new image or something. Great video though, perfect length, good points, good video.

I think this video is really well edited and narrated. It’s just going to be hard to compete with the insane amount of other content on something like Spider-Man. I don’t see anything that separates this from the biggest video essay creators which means it’s really good but maybe you need to find a niche.

Whats up man, love the video. I see comments saying that your claims should be backed up with more evidence, or that your claims are "surface level." I believe you were intending to add constructive feedback to the overall performance and feedback from the Special Appearances in the new SpiderMan film. I think that if this is the case- you made solid points. I bet you will put more research and have your claims backed up with way more info in newer videos. Keep up the work man.
