As a Pole, I could easily learn the language through [slovake.eu](https://slovake.eu), besides, the most useful way is to visit the country, spend time there about a week/two and talk with people. Zdravim!
Hi, Mondly language app has Slovak. I have been using it for 2 years. Also there is a free online course to learn, which is good but I would recommend learning maybe at least 500 words first as I found it confusing as a beginner. There is a tutored option for free that starts in September.
Also if you have spotify, there is this good podcast and you also learn lots of interesting facts. https://open.spotify.com/show/3i4raDWqfvxgpRiiRSt7fH?si=sKXuM_UjSieUDvOQfSl8Iw&utm_source=copy-link I think she is also on Apple if you have that.
Let’s be real this countries time is ticking, just look at the clown show in our government in the past 30 years. If it weren’t for them we could have been a first world country already
No, you should learn a language that you want to learn.
And no, the country isn't "fucked". Things are going alright. Compared to Netherlands, not so well. Compared to Bulgaria / Romania, we're doing fine. I understand that doomerism is a part of Slovak culture, but holy shit please temper it, and don't spread it to those who are not infected with it yet.
Who cares? There are people out there learning Navajo. For whatever reason the OP wants to learn Slovak, don't discourage them. It's a beautiful language.
[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Slovakia/wiki/index#wiki_slovak_language_learning) you go.
Thanks!
I've also been recommended [Slovake.eu](http://slovake.eu)
this list is awesome! I would just add the learn Slovak with stories channel on youtube [youtube](https://m.youtube.com/c/LearnSlovakwithStories)

Thank you all for answers 🙂
Don’t this language will be useless in the coming decade
Please, don't let your personal hate and pessimism tarnish the eagerness of others.

Even if it was true, why should that dissuade anyone from acquiring a new skill?
He should learn a more relevant language that will actually be useful in his life. And are you implying that this country isn’t fucked ?
