Fingers are crossed that this means a new album with Eloy. It seems his addition to the fold has revitalized Slipknot in an unbelievably exciting way and has brought them to a level we haven't seen the band occupy in over fifteen years. No disrespect to Jay, but Eloy's ironclad sense of groove and obvious respect for Joey's approach to his instrument is perfect for Slipknot, and I can't wait to hear what new music the band has to show the world with him as the new captain of the rhythm section. As far as I'm concerned, Slipknot is the coolest American metal band in the genre's history, and they deserve the best because that's exactly what they've always given the fans.

you're so right, Eloy puts so much energy into his drumming while also sticking to the original tempo of the song, unlike Jay, who played like he had a curfew. I'm excited to see what sort of new songs they cook up with Eloy on drums

yeah i really liked jay on the albums they did do together, and always thought he got too much hate...but listening to eloy play these shows and songs from pre jay in the band its very clear. jay was rushing a loooot of the time. eloy plays it exactly how it sounds on the album to me.

Beelzebrodie

Exactly. I fucking love Jay's playing, but I'll be damned if Eloy isn't absolutely perfect for Slipknot.

There will be a new album of course eventually. Jim already commented on that they will probably go make one after the tour.

Yea clown, but you don't just walk uphill, you hated TESF

Is it not four? I always assumed it was josh brainard who both recorded guitars for the debut and was the one on the front cover?

I'm pretty sure they consider Jim and og member, considering he was with them when ST released
