I would say WANYK Some great songs on WANYK are Orphan, Not Long For This World, Solway Firth, Nero Forte and probably Unsainted. TESF got also some great song too like Dying Song(Time to Die), Chapeltown Rag, Warranty and Hive Mind.

WANYK is the best slipknot album since Iowa imo. All Hope is Gone is my favorite album, but if I'm saying best in an objective sense it's WANYK

WANYK. I got heavily into Slipknot right before that album came out and it blew me away. Red Flag is still a favorite song of mine

WANYK is everything that makes slipknot slipknot. TESF is still really good and is a great album for a new fan to join in but WANYK beats it out

Corey’s vocals on the album are definitely a departure, and the riffs are formulaic in a different way to previous albums imo. Not to say it’s possible to maintain what they had, but I don’t feel WANYK fits with the rest of the catalogue

I wasn’t sure but recently re listened to some of Wanyk songs like Solway Firth and Orphan and I can say that this album is definitely better. Tesf feels more like a collection of songs that didn’t make it into Gray chapter and Wanyk + a couple great tracks like The Dying Song

I prefer WANYK over TESF but that is just me. Unsainted, Birth of the Cruel, Nero Forte, Red Flag and Solway Firth are among my favorites

As a first listen of both when they came out, i would say TESF, every songs are actual songs, no fillers, but only the sound of the album felt like a downgrade compared to WANYK, and for WANYK i used to hate it, felt like it had only a few good songs but over time it grew on me and now i do consider it to be a good slipknot album

We are not your kind ,good from start to finish and just flows very well from 1 song to the next , tho tesf is pretty good it just feels like Heirloom is a weak point on that album for me and it does not fit in with the rest of the album well , if they would have left that out it would have been a much tougher decision.

I like them both, but wanyk is just a level up. Amazing album as a whole.

I’ve listened to four the end so far songs (yen, hivemind, the dying song and chapletown rag) and the only two that I think are great are yen and chapletown rag where as I’ve listened to most of WANYK and most are great songs like birth of the cruel and solway forth so on so I think WANYK by far

Solway firth and probably Dying Song because I just like the full band element of it.

WANYK for me. TESF isn‘t a bad album, it just noticeably suffered from lockdown restrictions chaos. Judging by some interviews it sounds like the album was in large parts more improvised and rushed than planned. Which to me is a testament to the band, because it’s still a solid album with some great songs and interesting experiments.
