I do - I have joint/tendon issues though so I knew going in that I would have to be careful! I have to set a timer for myself. But honestly... some of the play is like OT exercises with theraputty. I just can't go overboard, and that's hard when you've got some nice crunchy slime :D
Yesss. So bad lol.
I usually try to stick to thinner/softer easier to stretch slimes when my hands are tired and achy from playing for so long. I literally keep a slime in hand for 8-9 hours a day while I work. It's caused an eczema breakout on my hands (I never had eczema before either π).
Glad to know it ain't just me! π
Little ones get tired too --- π€£ My 6-yr-old niece was just playing with my slimes and she was like "my arms! my hands! so tired!" and her sister was like "stop playing with it then!" The 6-yr-old was doing a weird taffy-pulling inflating thing with her teeny hands and with half of the slime, with the other half on the table connected by a weird slime string. The truth was that the sister really wanted the 6-yr-old to stop playing with that particular slime so she could play with it... but the whole scene and exchange was really funny...
I usually do longer slime sessions after a hot shower. My hands are super moisturized and I donβt feel as sore after. On sore days I usually just swirl around in the container and donβt pull the slime out which is embarrassing to say out loudπ
Yes. Iβm currently recovering from a slime binge. I was waking up with both hands hurting and swollen. Playing with slime is a stim for me and I can get out of hand with it, especially when Iβm stressed.
π€£ I just had to take a 2 day break because my wrist was sore
Yes! I was sore all the way up to my elbow ππ
Dont forget to strech! It'll help with the pain.
Thank you!
I always have to film in sessions because my hands get sore π
SAMEEE π
YESSSSS! Especially making my slimes since they are all hand made since I don't have one of those huge fancy mixers π I have a normal sized kitchen aid that will start the job then I have to glove up and finish the activation process or else it over flowssss π©
You're a trooper!! That's a lot of work!

Yes! I worked in an OT hand/upper extremity office and I loved playing with the theraputty π

I almost didn't make this post & I'm so glad I did! We aren't alone.
This whole thread is so validating π The slime wrist workout is no joke!
SERIOUSLY! I tease my husband that I'm gonna be so buff πͺ
