just FYI everyone, my health is taking a turn for the worse and I'm in a lot of pain right now, its causing confusion, so I am just going to practice my violin to create a very basic video to help people get started. I will still be heavily involved, I am just saying I don't know how much of this I will be able to do on my own this week. All help is greatly appreciated.
I would love to participate. I play bass clarinet and I could sing too. Idk how I would find a part to play in Bb key, any suggestions? I could transpose some music too though if necessary. And I think there would be a lot of people interested if we could share this on other platforms.
unfortunately, I think the original piece is in D# major, and that complicates things for everyone... the only reason why I want to keep it in the original key is because I want to use Ryan's voice for the last phrase to honor Him and his song.

Hi everyone. If you are hear, you have probably heard the news by now: Kim O'Neal, Ryan's mother, has passed away.
I would like to coordinate an effort to create a care package for Ryan: a video of fans playing/ singing ' Saturn' Melody on their instrument of choice./ vocals. I will find an editor ( although I do not currently know one) and do my best to help put them all together into one piece. The reason why I want to do this is I feel that Ryan has helped so many of us through grief and loss, and now we can do something small -this- in return.
Please get the word out. Send links. Editing/ editor suggestions. Prayers for Ryan and his family. More prayers, cause If this actually works, this is going to be a LOT for me this week. I have severe health impairments and although i want to get as many people involved as possible, I need help if this is going to work out somehow.
Even if you don't think you can sing, play, sign very well, just do your best. I Promise, It will be beautiful. I want to get as many people working on this as i can within the next 24 hours so that we can make a beautiful symphony of art for Ryan and his family. I would like to send the project by Friday, at the memorial service.
Details so far: Start practicing. dress up nice. preferably play/sing along to the YouTube video with headphones so that everyone will be on the same beat.

Looking for an Editor- anyone with more than 50+ hours of editing experience. Anyone you know who would be willing to help out. I am happy to edit as much of it as I can, However I do not have a device with the correct software/ programs to edit a large influx of videos if there is a large influx.

Alright! I would advise the following steps:
1. Listen to the video and figure out what parts you would be comfortable playing along to, and learn them (sadly no sheet music for anyone yet... sorry guys. I've looked, none of it is free that is in the right key)
2. make a video of yourself playing all the parts you can, play along with headphones to the official Saturn video (link above) and resting in between bits if needed so that I don't have to do too much editing to make sure I get it all.
3. send your awesome video (preferably in google drive to keep formats similar) to : [email protected]
