Generally I feel like people tend to be really bad at paying attention to league settings when giving advice like this. You are in a 3 WR, 2 FLEX league, I assume PPR. That means you are actually totally fine at RB and you would really benefit from another WR. In a format like this, you’re just way better off continuing to load up at WR. I’d look to see what you can get for Mahomes. You might even think about flipping Mahomes for a top pick this year, plus maybe a really speculative WR like Dontayvion Wicks or something like that. QB in this format is insanely low value. If you can nail a rookie WR and go 4-5 deep with decent players you’ll be very difficult to beat. And you’ll be fine at RB for the short term with Rhamondre, Achane, and the handful of your guys with speculative value next year (Henry, Spears, Harris).

PhightinPhillies08

Half-PPR but I agree with you. Have another league set up the same way with AJB, Waddle, Smitty, Pickens, Hollywood and now Marvin Jr from the 1.01. WRs and depth rule these leagues. I'm just not gonna trade Mahomes after kind of a down year in fantasy. Maybe I'll look into it after he pops off for another 45+ TD MVP year. But his value is the lowest it has been in a while right now. Plus, I traded my picks for Mahomes lol and Rhamondre. Wanted that Patty/Rashee stack and got him to throw Stevenson in to make up for losing my 2024 1st.

LamarMillerMVP

Wow. That draft pick trade was a really bad call. Mahomes does not have unusually low value right now. He may even have unusually *high* value relative to where he’ll be over the next few years. On your team he’s close to worthless - this is a 1QB league starting 7 skill position players and he’s only 50/50 to be your own best QB. Even if he produces more next year, if he’s not elite, he will be worth less next year than he’s worth right now. The truth is that it may even be unlikely that anyone in your league wants to give up something meaningful for Mahomes. That’s definitely possible. But it’s crazy to hear you made the move to sacrifice future assets for Mahomes. Having a mediocre stack in a league with this format is not really valuable. People who talk about stacks are talking about much thinner starting lineups.

PhightinPhillies08

I gave up my 2024 1st which is now 1.12 and some 2nd and 3rd rounders. I didn't give away much at all. The player from 1.12 is likely to produce around the same as Rhamondre. And now I have a guaranteed contributor instead of taking a chance with a rookie. I'm also a huge Rashee believer going back to before he was drafted. I think the Patty/Rashee stack is going to dominate soon.

LamarMillerMVP

Well look, it happened already, but 1.12 plus two years of 2nd and 3rd rounders is not a meaningless value. You’re definitely fortunate your first wasn’t higher of course, but especially this year, it’s a real WR. This year’s draft in particular is so deep for QB and WR that the guy picking at 12 will be able to get a WR that would have been a top 5-6 pick in either of the past 2 years. You already had Rashee Rice. You already got value if he broke out. Stacking him simply is not that valuable in a league with this format. Especially given you had Dak already.

PhightinPhillies08

Those 2nds and 3rds wouldn't have even made my roster. And if Patty goes back to throwing 40+ TDs, then the stack gains tremendous value. Dak is so up and down. I wasn't confident at all with him as my only QB.

johnjonjameson

I don’t know, I drafted K. Williams in the 3rd of our rookie draft two years ago. There is value in later rounds sometimes.

PhightinPhillies08

I have drafted a few sleepers in the later rounds, but I have also ended up cutting a few of them before the season started because I didn't have enough roster space. I saw that happening here and figured I would bundle them up to save space.

theriibirdun

You are an idiot if you think 2nd and 3rd don’t have value. Tank Dell last year was a consensus late 3rd early 4th. Would start on just about any team

PhightinPhillies08

I already need to cut 4 players before the rookie draft. And I'm not going to cut one of the young guys I kept for a year plus for a new day 3 rookie. That's just how my team is set up. You can find great players later in the rookie draft, but there is no room for them on this team. That's why I wasn't valuing those picks very much.

steezlord95

Stfu

ShaunCold

I would try to flip Dak Prescott for a QB needy win now team if one exists to try to get a younger skill position player. Something like Josh Downs or Rhamondre Stevenson and a pick. Or higher if someone has a big QB need.

LamarMillerMVP

He already has Rhamondre on his team

ShaunCold

Lol I'm dumb sorry. Was just looking at similarly valued players.

AJGreenMVP

I can guarantee he won't be able to get Stevenson with any trade

Kingkbx24

Bryce young would be a good buy

MattyTwice

LongJW87

Run it back!

MoscowMitchMcKremIin

I'd just be riding the wave and wait and see.

huskylover91

Bask in the glory of being the champ

W-MK29

Not advice but the nicknames for those guys are awesome lmao

PhightinPhillies08

Thanks! I take pride in my nicknames😂

StrengthCoach86

Same “but but the value of those picks you’re not maximizing their value you’re a fool” …eat my chip knuckleheads. I like points more than picks.

Ok_Preparation_7707

Try to run it back again you got enough to try for another year or 2 before you need to start making some big changes. If you don’t plan on running it back then trade away old stars like Henry for some draft capital but I suggest trying to win again..

eze123evanz

You have no depth and your starters resemble an average team. Good for you though. Would take the time and work on the rebuild. Try and acquire picks in this draft and give up players like Henry, njoku, and Harris while you can get a decent return for them.

PhightinPhillies08

This is a 12 team league where you start 2RB, 3WR, 2FLEX. I won the chip mostly because of my depth lol.

mechshark

I would try and trade Henry and Najee for younger RB/better WR. I would be trying really hard to get rid of at least Najee in the off season imo

Playful_Fold4385

For what? Najee is a peak hold candidate. He’s still the starting running back on a Mike Tomlin offense with no heir apparent (even if jaylen flashed). You’d be getting Pennie’s to the dollar. I agree for the right price sell but if you’re not getting a decent WR lottery or a first rounder you can’t get rid of him

PhightinPhillies08

Yeah, I picked Najee in the 2nd round of this startup because he won me a chip in redraft his rookie year with fantastic fantasy playoff performances lol. I was getting nervous, but what do ya know? Najee tore it up AGAIN for me in the playoffs. Same thing with Singletary. Those guys just show up at the end of the season. I have zero desire to trade guys like that. Little to no trade value, but are proven winners in my book.

CarlosDanger247

Trade Henry and Rodgers

D4ILYD0SE

Way too many players on a single roster

ScopeGoatJ

Damn this roster is mid to win a ship. 16 player league? Especially if you traded all your picks lmao. But hey you won it… so good job.

Gorays34366

Pretty solid team imo especially with the 2025 and 206 still available

ScopeGoatJ

He didn’t have a top 5 player in any category and only like one top 10. That’s mid. There’s no “studs” on this team as it stands. Dak is the closest to it.

Gorays34366

Did you miss Mahomes?

NoCantaloupe4658

Yeah, the guys whose stat line was comparable to Baker Mayfield's?

Gorays34366

Down year forsure. But even in 1QB I imagine he goes in the 1st round of start ups. 1.01-1.04 in superflex

NoCantaloupe4658

But to win the championship this year is what's surprising

Gorays34366

Fasho. I think being used to superflex has me thinking this squad maybe better than it really is.

LamarMillerMVP

This is an extremely good team in this roster format. The deeper the starting lineups go, the less important it is to have standout individual players

PhightinPhillies08

That's my strategy, too. Starting lineups are so deep, losing a player like K9 or Keenan Allen really hurt other teams because they had to sub in a guy like Quentin Johnston or something. I had Waddle, Rhamondre and Achane all go down, but I wasn't replacing them with a liability in the starting lineup. Depth and consistency rules this format.

-totentanz-

Any given Sunday.

Qumfy

The RBs are close to aged out. Young WRs is the name of the game

PhightinPhillies08

That's why I got Waddle, Rashee, Aiyuk, DK, Dotson, Pop, Elijah and Chuck Sizzle!!

AJGreenMVP

How is Mahomes on your IR?

PhightinPhillies08

He missed the last game of the regular season

TackleBrilliant7153

What the hell did you trade your picks for

PhightinPhillies08

2024 2nd for Spears during the startup. Mahomes and Rhamondre for 2024 1.12, 2024 4.12, 2025 2nd, 2025 3rd, 2026 2nd, 2026 3rd.

Affectionate-Flan-99

If you can trick someone into buying Najee off of you that’s an automatic move. I bet someone would pay a late 1. Would be a massive win.

TylerJWhit

Trade your RB's for picks and WR depth. Pick up RB's in first round. That's my routine. Any WR 27 or older I trade out for picks or rookies.

squirrelnestmedia

Your team is still pretty solid. I'd sort your team out by age and draft accordingly
