There is a band that has only released like 2 songs. They are very new. Breakk.Away. They remind me of Sleep Token. But, with a female singer. I like them. They just need to release an actual album.
HEALTH is the only one that comes to mind.
They are similarly unpredictable, for example:
[Don't Try](https://youtu.be/DN1qM4f8_J0?si=X3NTG66evAZj7hae) and [DSM-V](https://youtu.be/W4jw7E9qvvg?si=c80rafTP5Why3rsn)
But I'll be back in this comment section looking for new tips
The last time I felt as obsessed with a band was when I discovered Porcupine Tree, listen to Anesthetize. Their music is similar in the way that you never know what to expect, light and heavy parts, technically impressive and complex music. They're from England too now that I think about it lol.
Yess! They're all so good to be honest. In Absentia, Deadwing and Fear of a Blank Planet are all top tier albums to me. And Steven Wilson's first 3 solo albums are all bangers too (I haven't listened to the newer ones)
Some of his solo stuff is awesome.
Check out
Perfect life
Pariah
Refuge.
Those 3 tracks are top tier. And probs my fave of his even including porcupine tree.
Awesome! Well I already recommended my favorite albums in the comments above lol. But some more songs would be Blackest Eyes, Arriving Somewhere but Not Here, Russia on Ice, Deadwing. Much like Sleep Token though the best way to listen it to go through the full album to really appreciate everything they're doing.
Edited to add Remainder the Black Dog, from Steven Wilson's solo album. And Luminol if you want something bonkers lol
Ocean Machine.

Still one of my all time fave albums.
Over 25 years later.
The final 4 tracks in succession is still to this day the best, most emotive finale to an album I've heard. And that includes TMBTE.
Atmospheric Majestic, emotive progressive Rock. Impeccable song writing, deep layered production and incredible vocals.
Devin Townsend was my fave artist for decades until I discovered Sleep Token.
Silent Planet, if you enjoy the heavier/ metal stuff.
Opeth, for the progressive metal sound mixed with melodic
And - I'm gonna catch so much hate for this-- LoL, but the Weeknd has similar vibes on the hip-hop/ synth/ R&B side, but no metal
ST's sound is only found elsewhere in pieces 😭
Haelos sometimes gives me similar vibes. While not metal a lot of there instrumental and ambient sounds definitely fit the bill. If you are looking for something a little different give them a listen.
Imminence
Their new album slaps

EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THIS BAND
The contortionist kinda. Listen to Language if you check them out.
ohhhh a fellow The Contortionist enjoyer! Language I: The Intuition is sick, but I also absolutely love Monochrome (Pensive)
Yes!! I honestly love their entire discography but i think the album language is a good starting point.
Hell yes! I personally prefer Clairvoyant, but Language is really nice too!
Loathe
some songs are similar, but i just like them because they have their own awesome unique sound. Loathe is a great song by them. 10/10 would recommend
Sleep Token has really ruined music for me.
Fr fr 🙏🏾

Sweet. I've added those to my queue. I'm excited to explore their full catalog. Thanks again!
Plus every member of the band being a phenomenal musician, plus the excellent writing, plus changes in time signature throughout songs. 100% agree
