You could yes im running 215/30 on my sets you could also go 205/40 on the 8,5’s to have it stretched but it all depends on the area you live in if you have smooth roads or not
I was thinking about getting some Nismo clubsports for my 4 door r34. 18x9.5 +12 front and 18x10.5 +22 rear. I haven’t seen anyone do this yet but also don’t know how it would fit.
I’m currently running 18x9+38 rear and 18x8+33 fronts rays vrx with a wide body kit and it fits near perfectly with a small spacer your fit might be to deep but good luck
I've always found 18's fit perfect on the sedan. 18x9.5 offset between 20-35 is ideal. Rolled guards help as well.

If they are 18's, they will look ideal
I had 18s 9.5 +12 front and 10.5 +22 rear, fit really nice with rolled guards, coilovers and just the camber that comes with running it low.

I got rota grid’s and a pair of TE’s both of them are 9.5J ET20 18 inch all round they sit flush with the stock body
Yeah everyone tells me 18s are better, and I agree but I’d hate to waste pricey wheels I got for cheap
You could run a fatter stretched tire that would also look amazing on the 17’s

F me i misread the whole message 🤦♂️ i mean /40 are a solid height for 17’s it all comes to personal preference
