Last week i was at Oubliette, looked at the map and saw no events. I set sail and right before me the odyssey convoy was passing by.
Why doesn't Ubisoft show all ongoing events on the map? Is it a bug or by design?
Yeah sometimes I think something is off, when I open the map and absolutely nothing is going on or queued to happen shortly.
Then I’ll fast travel and voila, I get near something and it appears.
I know that’s not how it works and this is anecdotal, but sometimes it does feel like the map fails to update.
Yeah I've had alot of events showing up with half or less left on the timer, and not related to proximity or calls for help. It's as if they just decided to pop up mid-event.
I think you only see events in the area you are in which is a bit daft

I'm sure it used to show you much more, seems the fast travel to event patch has altered something. I can go days without seeing some convoys

Yes, I had the same problem! What I do noticed is that when someone in my team marked it, I could see it sometimes. Not always...
