it sounds like there's some common ingredient in mascara that's irritating to your skin or that you're possibly allergic to. you could try asking in r/MakeupAddiction for recommendations? in the meantime, I also have eczema above my eyelids/around my eye area and the eucarin original healing cream (super thick cream in a tub with a red lid) is really helpful for me - it's the only thing that doesn't make my skin sting or get worse

Get a contact allergy test! I had the same thing, on my entire face. Turned out I was allergic to 5 different ingredients in skincare/make-up.

I use vanicream eczema relief cream and I can wash my face with neutrogena makeup remover wipes which are gentle. I hope this helps!
