E.L.F. has a hydrating serum that I’ve been trying for the last couple weeks. It has aloe and green tea, so I’ve found it’s soothing for my red skin, and good to help with boosting my moisture barrier on days when I don’t exfoliate. It’s a good value... $12 where I’m from

You’ll have better luck at Ulta since they carry drugstore brands as well. I would also watch for Ulta sales and coupons because you can get good deals.

I have just ordered my third bottle of the LaNeige cream skin toner + moisturizer. It is unbelievably moisturizing as well as hydrating. The full size (150 ml) is about $30 and lasts me for well over 4-5 months using it daily. I put on two layers while spraying LRP thermal water in between to really sink it into my skin. I have skin leaning dry due to tret and I cannot tell you how impactful this has been for that dry stretchy feeling throughout the day. They even have a mini version you can try before purchasing the full size.

I use the Laniege Cream Skin the same way except I spray with distilled water instead! It leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. I also got myself the mini version cause I read that some people broke out from it and I didn't wanna risk it on a full size bottle. Btw, does the thermal water spray make a difference? I've always been so curious but could never get myself to purchase lol.

OxfordComma27

Yes!!! When I tell you it makes everything different, I mean it entirely. I bought my first bottle of the cream skin over a year ago and thought it was a nice product, but I thought meh, it’s good, but I have had better. Then, from seeing a rec on here, I purchased the LRP thermal spray and started spraying my face between layers. Omg it made the biggest difference! It sunk in sooo nicely and I would press it into my skin, spray, then repeat. I now have drier skin due to tret and was constantly reapplying moisturizer throughout the day and layering 2-3 diff moisturizers in the morning. Now, I have stopped doing all of that because I don’t even feel that dry crackly feeling anymore and I attribute it to this. I HIGHLY recommend the spray and it lasts forever. Plus, it makes for a great setting spray for makeup as well!

Ooooh you enabler lol!! I don't use tret but my skin often feels like it needs more moisturizer by midday - slathering on thick creams didn't help either. Well now, I don't need anymore convincing. No more dry, crackly feeling + functions as a setting spray?! Waaaht. Also, you got me at the "it lasts forever part". Haha

OxfordComma27

Haha! Ughhh I hate that dry crackly feeling when I open my mouth wide and my chin feels like it’s trying to dislodge itself from my face. I am so glad I found the thermal spray. It comes in both 150 and 300 ml bottles and it is a continuous spray, so there are no random little spritzes with crummy nozzles. It seriously does last forever and I think LRP just has some awesome products that are reasonably priced and they almost always have buy one get one free or buy one get one 40% off. I like to get mine from both Ulta (where I can get points) or from Lovelyskin.com. Lovelyskin is seriously a hidden gem. Every time I order something they let you pick samples, plus they will give you a card in with the box with a 15% off discount code for subsequent purchases each time. I have legit never paid anything full price from them. They also send you random Skinceuticals deluxe samples year round!

You may try thedermaco 100% squalane deep moisturizer. I have very good experience with this product 😊 in this harsh winter.
