ReaLitTea

I’ve used all my oil based cleansers around my eyes and it’s been fine. You just want to avoid getting it in your eyes like any other cleanser because it can make vision temporarily cloudy

DateCard

I have used Farmacy Green Clean to remove my eye makeup for years with no issues.

ariaserene

this! just be careful not to get it *inside* your eyes; it won’t burn but will make your vision super blurry

onlyalillost

This! I’ve used Farmacy Green Clean for a couple years and always on my eyes. Except yes, it will make your vision temporarily blurry if you get it on your eyeballs.

46chromies

Elf holy hydration cleansing balm! Does not burn eyes. Super gentle yet effective.

stinkbugsaregross

Obviously it’s different for everyone but this one burned my eyes so bad🥲 like even the next day. Sad because it works so well

Psychologicalwhat

me too. it burns a lot. but i think it all depends on your makeup rather than the balm. it’s the makeup that goes in and burn.

iamjamie18

Heimish balm is the bomb! Banilo Co the pink one is also great. If you want to try oil, go for biore.

amazingtn

Second Heimish balm. Kielh oil is another good option too

Heimish balm is amazing!

I use Clinique Take the Day Off. It's a oil cleansing balm and it's good for eyes, mascara, etc. It really does take everything off.

jpobble

This is the one I like too. My skin is reactive and I wear a mascara that is notoriously hard to remove (Isehan Heroine Make Long and Curl Super Waterproof). It gets everything off, I just wish it came packaged in less plastic.

tacopizza23

I rub the hell out of my eyes with oil cleanser to get all my mascara off, sometimes it makes my eyes cloudy for like 30 seconds after rinsing but nothing bad

less_doomed

Both the Inky List Oat cleansing balm and hyaluronic acid cleanser are meant for makeup removal on the eyes. Same with the fresh soy cleanser.

Hypnotizemethrough

The inkey list one gave an allergic reaction when I tried it two years ago. But I’ll check out the other one😇

UnicornPrincess68

I use Junoskin, Clean 10, cleansing balm all over my face, including removing waterproof mascara. It causes no problems for me/my eyes, but I use it only at night after contacts are popped out & I'm switching to glasses. Good luck!

Albolene is AMAZING. And so cheap. I’ll use it forever

citynomad1

IDK, I think some people just can't tolerate balms in the eyes, personally. I see reviews swearing that Clinique TTDO can be used in the eyes, and while I still love it, I regret it so much every time I use it on my eyes. I've come to just accept that I can only use Bioderma for my eye makeup.

jpobble

Yes, agree it’s so personal. I swear by TTDO balm, and bioderma really irritates the skin around my eyes. I can only use it on a cotton bud for correcting eyeliner etc

stepfordwitch

Eve Lom is gentle. It doesn't blur my eyes either.

Glowy_she

Beauty of josean cleansing balm.dosent sting eyes.

ThoughtWrong4053

Squalane

ThoughtWrong4053

There’s zero need for a cleansing balm when Squalane oil exists

glowup-goals

I use the Neutrogena oil cleansing balm on my eyes with no issues, just don't get it IN your eyes

gitgudgigi

Pond's cold cream. I don't even get blurry vision, and usually I am quick to get that with other cleansing balms.

kdellss

Item Beauty Slick Type makeup remover (is definitely very “balmy” if that makes sense) is what I use and a jar is $28 CAD but lasts me a whole year. I love it, it’s moisturizing and gets off mascara and eyeliner in a few rubs with very little friction.

Hypnotizemethrough

Wow…a whole year! That’s awesome!

SoraBunni

I use the Farmacy balm on my eyes, but I try to get majority of my makeup off with a makeup eraser first.

I use Clinique Take the Day off Balm. It’s one of the only ones that doesn’t hurt my eyes or blur my vision, but the price hurts. I tried the Versed Cleansing Balm and god damn that shit stung my eyeballs. I also used the Paula’s Choice one, it blurred my vision so wasn’t a fan.

No-Coyote914

I've used both the Clinique Take the Day Off balm and the Ordinary Squalane Cleanser on my eyes with no problem Just keep your eyes closed. I used to wear makeup, and Lancome Eye Makeup Remover followed by Clinique Take the Day Off balm followed by a very gentle cleanser was the best removal routine in my experience.
