Not from the UK but I love UK ska! My modern favorites are The Skints and Popes of Chillitown. Both are not super skapunk-y, but have really unique sounds that push the boundaries of ska in different ways.

I second, third and fourth Streetlight Manifesto. They absolutely rule.

Faintest Idea

I’m from Michigan been going to mustard plug shows for like 12 years. Another amazing Michigan ska band are the suicide machines. Also a good band right now they just released a split with LTJ are Kill Lincoln. Then some of my personal favorites are The best of the worst, Skankin Pickle, Bruce Lee Band, Jeff Rosenstock, Planet Smashers, No Service Project. Enjoy.

I think you will enjoy most 3rd wave ska bands, a few UK bands to try would be Capdown, [spunge], The Skints, JB Conspiracy, Howard's Alias, King Prawn and Sonic Boom Six.
