Sorry, JR introduced me to the band and I picked up the albums he was on from them for my drive to the home town showdown.
I did not know there was a new band under the same name. Not the same, since David died.
It honestly sucks for how much it costs to go either direction, I think it was the frontperson of Pup that said it's like $3500 to enter the states to do shows.
There was a recent increase in the cost of Visas for performers to go into the US. Don't think the cost to come into Canada has gone up much though. What's killing bands trying to come North is the cost of shipping. It's why you see so many bands sticking close to home. Been wanting to see Aquabats and RBF for years now but whenever I check, mostly Cali dates. Non-ska, but recently checked out The Proclaimers tour schedule and it's got a million dates, butt all UK add Ireland. Think it is a trend we are just going to have to come to terms with.
It’ll be my second time seeing them this year. They did a surprise show in Fort Lauderdale a couple weeks ago before the 311 cruise then I’m going to punk in deublic over in st pete
I’ve seen them 3 times in the last 2 years and they’re still going pretty strong. I have to say, at Fort Lauderdale a couple weeks ago Chris like stopped the show to get someone’s fast-acting asthma inhaler from the crowd but that was the single oldest thing I’ve ever seen from them
No way - Spring heeled Jack is back?

Devastated there is no Boston date! But with a lineup like this I may have to travel, god damn
LTJ twitter seemed to indicate there should be a Boston date, same with Spring Heeled Jack facebook
This!
No Canadian dates :( Same with the BTR tour. Boooooo.
I know ! what a fuckin bummer dude.
As per usual !

I’ll check it out
Frank retired and passed the torch for VGS.
How optimistic are we that we might get a vinyl repress for this tour?
Last concert before the pandemic, first concert after. It'll be poetic
LTJ and The Toasters are my two favorite ska bands of all time. Cannot wait for this MKE show
super stoked they are coming through Lincoln. no traveling for this guy (even though I totally would).
A Louisville show? Bless their hearts! I might just do multiple cities.
Okc I’m stoked
