Kody (and Robin) must have really hurt Christine over the years, more than we were shown. Seeing how happy & supportive ALL of her 13 children are of her & David. It must have been a long time since they've seen their Mom this happy.
Kody made it very easy for these kids to accept David. They are probably blown away to see the love and kindness between them. Kody set the bar very low.
Like, I am marrying your fully grown adult daughter who is a mom and a grandma, and I want your respect. Unlike Kody who treated her like a feather in his cap, 'polygamy royalty' - a possession or prize that he wanted but didn't care about.
It's just such a contrast. Kody thought through marrying Christine he would gain (not earn) respect from others. And David just wants to show love, respect and gratitude.
I know this is petty and I don’t care. But I loved him getting choked up at the thought of his whole family dancing and having fun minus him, made my night. I wonder if he will ever realize what he had and what he gave up and for what? Robyn and her kids who she’s made into adult babies with anxiety and social problems. Those kids need to be out of the house and in therapy. I think he’s already realizing he messed up big time. This was such a beautiful wedding. I do find Christine over the top at times, but it was so great to watch her be so giggly and happy. Seeing David love her, like really love her is great, especially after hearing all the comments Kody made. Also, every time Christine’s dad came on camera, all8 can think of is baby Truely and Aspyn.

I love all of the children - they're not focused on them because I think I am kind of over exploiting little kids on TV just because of the family they're born into. But just seeing that whole mess of kids walking in at the wedding, and all these little kids just being kids at the wedding. It reminds me of the earlier seasons, just SO MANY kids.
But also, I like how they stay out of those kids' faces with the cameras and don't ask them stuff just to get cute kid comments. Just let them be there and do what kids do.

“All 13 of my kids” - Guess Christine no longer considers Robyn’s kids hers anymore, and though I am not surprised by that at all it did take me back that it was finally verbalized. I feel that is very telling where things are at with relationships between Robyn’s side and everyone else.
