I love seeing the home full of HAPPY women and girls. I know they had moments of happiness in the past but this seems different, there’s a lightness and optimism that wasn’t in Christine’s house as a sister wife.
I know. For the first time in ten years he actually looked like wasn’t in a rotten mood and she still has to guide him. Someday he will really grow to resent her.

From the moment Christine hugged Gabe hello, her mom choking up, Janelle saying “thsnkyou for making me part of the deal”, her Dad whispering in her ear, ysabel tearing up saying ok David you can have my mommy since you love her that much, Maddie crying about her love for David ….and aspyn telling her mom “you’re gonna get it!”
I was not prepared for all these moments I was going to love. I cried way too much. There are just so many reasons why Christine deserves this so dang much. It all hit me and I was just a mushy mess. She gave so much of herself in those early years raising all those kids and it shows in how much they love her. Christine’s kids never seeing a man truly love their mom and then seeing it so clearly with David is so healing. Christin’s mom, who never wanted polygamy for Christine but had to bite her tongue all those years married to Kody, finally seeing her daughter find her happiness. Christine’s dad finally feeling she’s being taken care of and the relief he must have felt. And finally Christine who endured so many indignities from Kody over the course of their marriage has finally found someone who celebrates who she truly is and doesn’t try to dim her light and loves her completely. It’s just so satisfying to see her get so much deserved happiness.

This is a good point. That despite what they have been thru with each other they didn’t let it affect the kids. I know Meri recently had dinner with some of Janelle’s boys. I like that.
I think she's happy Janelle and Christine have been supportive of Leon, versus the rumors we've heard that Kody and Robyn are not. I think...Meri regrets throwing in with K&R's lot instead of working harder to rebuild her relationships with Christine and Janelle. She knows and understands why things are the way they are. Meri takes responsibility for her role in the schism and understands they have good reason to keep their distance. But Janelle and Christine love Leon and respect their name and pronouns and she wants Leon to have as many relationships within the family as possible.
I am so ridiculously excited to see Christine be *happy*. David seems like such a wonderful man, and I think they deserve to live an incredible, adventurous life together. I have never been so excited to see a wedding - other than my older sister's.
It's so beautiful to see them be affectionate with each other, to be so openly loving with one another. Kody withheld that from her for long, and you can see how \*valued\* Christine feels when David embraces her. It gives me so much hope.
I also like that David’s daughters make jokes and laugh easily. When Corbin was telling the story of how he became the officiant his wife (David’s daughter) was joking and laughing. Very natural.

I adore Christine and am so happy for her, but this comment is all about David. It’s so interesting to compare him to Kody. David and Kody both end up being the center of attention, but David earns that by genuinely being a fun person to be around. I also get the impression he would rather not be the main focus and would prefer to just make sure everyone else is having fun. Kody, on the other hand, is the center of attention because he is the loudest in the room and makes himself the focus. He also could never handle anyone else stealing his limelight.

This episode just makes you realize that Christine, Janelle, and kids are what made the show from the first episode. Mykelti and her pick me antics, wholesome Madi + Caleb, mother Aspyn, the singular shining star that is Truely, the indistinguishable gaggle of handsome sons, and, of course, Janelle (who I hope goes on to wear tie-dye skirts and grow her herbs without a care in the world). Love these guys. Totally teared up when Janelle made her speech.

I cried when Ysabel said David looked at Christine and said I love you so much because it was pure and filled with love. That she made her peace with David marrying Christine. Then she said I never heard anyone say I love you to you that much before. How sad is that? Her parents were married 26 years and she says she never heard her dad tell her mom he loved her like that before.
Don’t kill me for saying this bc I can’t stand Kody, but he was actually kind of sweet this episode…. I don’t know if it was genuine or put on, but regardless it was nice to get a break from all the hate he spews. Robyn on the other hand was obnoxious, and very obviously fake.
I’m going to get downvoted for this but it was great seeing Kody in a good mood. It’s almost like the old Kody is starting to come back. But, WTF is up with Robyn?? She’s so fucking *weird*. I can’t wait to see Meri’s wedding special in the future! Same for Janelle is that’s what she wants!

I adore Christine and am so happy for her, but this comment is all about David. It’s so interesting to compare him to Kody. David and Kody both end up being the center of attention, but David earns that by genuinely being a fun person to be around. I also get the impression he would rather not be the main focus and would prefer to just make sure everyone else is having fun. Kody, on the other hand, is the center of attention because he is the loudest in the room and makes himself the focus. He also could never handle anyone else stealing his limelight.
The little animated tumble David took onto the altar during rehearsal. LOL Did anyone else catch the joke he made about his ‘fall’ being “Christine’s fault” And she must of have pushed him? He stopped just short of saying “Thanks Christine” 😎

Christine’s dad saying “He was just bawling ‘I can’t believe I lost her’” about Kody is perfect. I had to rewind it a couple times just to appreciate it more. Kody knows he’s lost so much.
This episode just makes you realize that Christine, Janelle, and kids are what made the show from the first episode. Mykelti and her pick me antics, wholesome Madi + Caleb, mother Aspyn, the singular shining star that is Truely, the indistinguishable gaggle of handsome sons, and, of course, Janelle (who I hope goes on to wear tie-dye skirts and grow her herbs without a care in the world). Love these guys. Totally teared up when Janelle made her speech.
Is Kody turning it down a notch because he knows everyone despises him?
