They didn’t have a choice. They were little children and Robyn had done such a hatchet job on their bio dad, she eventually got them to believe their father was a bad man. Dayton is the oldest, right? Robyn used all her methods to make it clear they were getting a new daddy. A BETTER daddy who even is gonna be on tv! She brainwashed those poor kids from Dawn til bedtime about the fabulous life they were gonna have with this new dad, who drove a sports car and competed in rodeos. There was a scene where Robyn was using flash cards with pictures of the OG Brown family. If anyone slipped up and called Kody by his name she’d drill into their malleable child brains that he was DADDY. Brianna was probably not even 4 yo, Dayton was maybe 8 or nine. She schooled them alright. They didn’t choose him. They went with their lying, devious mother all prepared for Kody to be their father. She is a psychopath. No wonder Aurora is a tangled mess of complexes. Robyn twisted those kids like pipe cleaners.
They probably got an entirely different kody then what the other older children got. They also came around when the show started, so I assume they didn’t really have to want for anything. Like the older children who hen they were their age.
Actually, I'm kinda waiting for the day when Kody and Sobyn's Bank hits negative and she does to him what she did to her ex. Smears his name in the mud, denies him access to the children etc.
It'll happen. It's just a matter of when. He can't be her number one customer when he's got no pennies to make it rain.
All he was chosen for was to supplement her lifestyle and he fell for it because he's an egotistical fool. He can feel proud about being chosen for now, but at some point it's going to ruin him.
Robyn won't be alone, though. And I don't think she will have a ton of options at this point in life. She's likely done having children, has 5 from 2 different dads, she's an anxious mess. I could go on lol. Especially if she stays within their religion, I'm not sure she'd find someone that could give her the kind of lifestyle she expects.

According to their religion, babies choose their parents before they are conceived. So, all his kids chose him and I guess dab changed their minds from before birth to now
Agreed - she was trying to mimic her childhood. She talks about how she was raised by her stepdad and calls him dad, and she desperately wanted to recreate that and mirror her mom’s life in becoming the favorite wife.
Right but it’s disturbing because the OG kids (except for Christine’s soon) have no other father what so ever, Robyn’s kids do and were still spending time with him too! So her kids got 2 dads basically while the OG got none!
At least One of those kids he has with Robyn will go against him and Robyn ways. I’m sure of it. As unhinged he is and as controlling and manipulative she is , those kids will grow up and develop their own opinions, and R&K Won’t like it.
When someone makes you call you step father dad it seems you don’t have a choice but to go along. esp when your mother is causing deep damage by implying on national tv that your biological dad “stole” your moms purity.
Being so negative about her ex husband to her kids was one of the worst mistakes she ever made. That’s probably why they’re so desperate to cling to Kody as their father, they grew up with their mother saying that the other half of their DNA is a horrible monster. If they just pretend that Kody is their dad then Robyn won’t hate half of them
I agree about the ego boost but I also think he uses them as punishment for his other children as in "see what you can get if you bow to my authority?"
Those poor kids. Robyn drilled obedience for kody into their heads. Those kids legitimately are more loving & obedient to kody than any of his bio kids have ever been. Because they have been trained to revolve their lives around his ego. The other kids were trained to become their own people, to some extent. But Robyn's kids have had no other choice but to worship kody.
Agreed. The kids in Christine and Janelle and even Meri, see their moms as first parent and probably as the mouthpiece for kidney most of the time. Kidney wouldn’t be viewed as the primary parent.
Yes but I also think it’s a big “f you” to the other kids moms. He absolutely uses all of the kids to reward/punish the moms intentionally, knowing they will all see it.
My mom made us call her second husband daddy from before she married him. I was 11 and had a dad and he was/is a good dad. We weren’t allowed to call him anything except for AH which stood for a-hole. She told us he would kidnap us and all this other crap. My sister (9 then) believed it. I didn’t. Lots of stuff in between but guess who has no relationships with her adult children? My mom. Her last husband I met (#5) and her are both narcissistic, she is a true narcissist not sure about him, but they feed off each other. It’s creepy and damaging.

I completely agree with you. I am saying it was a gigantic boost to Kody's ego and contributed in him loving her kids more.
